Vitali good fighter, but not a great record in truth. Beat a lot of very average fighters.
He wasn't a huge puncher shot for shot. You wouldn't rank him over Lewis, Wlad or Wilder in the punching stakes he normally got guys out of there on volume. but he still had 40 early nights. He also liked to lean back out of range of fighters which against someone with faster hands and feet would be cause him problems.

I'd lean towards a Fury win on points as his sheer size negates of Vitalis awkwardness and Vitali had fairly slow hands. See Chisora. Haye's speed wrecked Dereck, but he saw everything Vitali sent his way coming and was able to stay on his feet for 12 rounds

I think i've also seen one of the worst posts ever in this thread, Vitali has better footwork than Tyson - really? if you think that log off.

Fury would win with ease... Exposing vitali as the slow armpunching, hyped up school yard bully that he was...

Sanders only turned up for a paycheck , he was semi-retired , barely trained anymore and was WAY past his best.
That win has about the same meaning as Conneys win over Ken Norton.

Acting like that win is some great achievement for Vitalli while rubbishing Furys win over Wlad exposes you to be a biased fanboy. . Clearly there's no limit to the rubbish you will post so long as you make an argument for Vitali.

You wouldn’t be lying to us again, would you?

How many alts do you really have?

I don’t believe you, prove me wrong if only for once by leaving without using alts.

Vitali has several wins over top ten opponents . How many does Fury have? Two. Yep. One guy was 39 the other a glasses jawed fraud who said his ring suit wore him out.

    World's heavyweight champion
    World's #2 contender
    Chisora was also ranked.

You can pick Vitali without viciously denegrating Fury's opposition.

Fury's win over Wilder has turned him into an ATG H2H monster for some. I happen to think the Wallin fight is a truer reflection of Fury's H2H ability. I'm not convinced Fury is now a puncher to such a degree that he would stop someone who has never been floored in his career. Injury stoppage yes as Vitali has history there but not from a KO or non-cut TKO. I can see Fury winning over 12 rounds but Vitali hits hard enough, and has an awkard enough style himself, to make it competitive. If Fury fights Joshua we'll have a much better idea about his chin as Joshua will hit him more often than Wilder did and has much more punch variety.

For the record, Fury is not 6ft 9. David Price at 6ft 8 looks a little taller than Fury in this photo, although to be fair you can't see footware. I'd put Fury at 6ft.7.5 and Vitali at 6ft 7 so half an inch at most between them. They are the same size for all intents and purposes.

Vitali beat a fresher version of Chisora.

Fury won’t be fighting past age 35. He has been in tough fights that Vitali would have easy night against.

Wilder has always been a fraud who was well managed and hyped. Let’s look back at wilder 5 years from now. If he doesn’t retire he’s getting stopped more than once.

Whatever one thinks of Deontay Wilder - now, or after whatever happens during the next 5 years - I feel certain he will live longer in the memory of more people than:

    Manuel Charr
    Dereck Chisora
    Tomasz Adamek
    Odlanier Solis
    Shannon Briggs
    Albert Sosnowski
    Kevin Johnson
    Chris Arreola
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Samuel Peter
    Danny Williams
    Corrie Sanders
    Kirk Johnson

    Vitali.

I have him at 20 all-time in terms of greatness.

But head to head, I have him much higher....probably top five.

Fury is still a work in progress so my pick could change, depending on how the big Gypsy finishes up.

Nowhere near Top 5. Who did he beat? Was stopped by past prime/overweight Lewis and quit against Byrd. Those were his best 2 opponents. His defense and technique was flawed.

No , Sanders was inactive , didn't train , turned up for a paycheck and put on 10lbs of fat since he panzer'd through Wlad a year earlier.

That huge effort you speak of was a tottally gassed out Sanders swinging for pot luck like a drunk bar room brawler.

Sanders in 2004 was completely unrecognisable to the prime Sanders of the early 90's.. Still , he caused Vitali major issues during the first few rounds ,which would suggest a Prime Sanders could win at least 6 or 7 rounds against Vitali.

One more point .. Sanders was never ranked top 10 during his prime. The Klitschko era being rubbish allowed him to be best in the world when he was old , fat and semi-retired.

Danny Williams beat Mike Tyson. There's no way he's less remembered than Wilder
