And, Lewis was quite obviously in below-par shape, but slugged his way to victory anyway; whereas Wlad looked utterly baffled by Fury and couldn't take control.
TKO9 and TKO06 is really dominating. VK would could should but he never did, he lost against the two best fighters he faced. I am no VK hater, beating the faded Peter after a very long lay off with injuries is impressive but overall VK beat nothing but washed shot old cannon fodder. I might give him Hide, ok.
You saw Vitali’s face after the fight? He never learnt to keep that left hand up for the right hand.Well, I pick Fury to outbox that past prime and overweight version of Lewis.
First off, Lewis was 37. How many past champion made a title defense at age 39 or greater? Its a very short list. Fury did not face anything close to a prime Wlad. Secondarily, Most think Lewis was better than Wlad.
Well, Wlad was in peak physical shape and Lennox was not. I submit that 39 year old Wlad was closer to his prime than 37 year old Lewis. Wlad was always a model athlete with a clean life style.
Fury is pretty adapt at slipping right hands. He is slick. Vitali just pulls straight back, that does not work against a quality opponent your own size. Not to mention that Fury was taller than Vitali! You know Sdunek was a good trainer and taught Wlad proper technique. However, he could not for whatever reason do the same job for Vitali who lacks fundamentals compared to Fury.
Believing an unrefined converted kickboxer is better in every dept than tactical multi dimensional pure boxer like Fury says you don't understand anything about the sport of boxing. But i already knew that from all the times you posted ridiculous and non-nonsensical ATG lists. You are a home town cheerleader , nothing more. To say Vitali better is than Fury in every department is the same as saying- Vic Postal is better in every department than T.Crawford Postal is a straight forward guy with no punch variation like Vitali. Crawford is a multi dimensional switch hitter and adapter like Fury. There's a reason why that fight wasn't close- Dimensions , ring IQ and footwork. Only two times in Vitali's career did he need did to make adjustments during the fight and it was in those two fights he lost. Fury could have easily lost to Otto Walin had he not changed his style from back foot pot- shotter to inside brawler. Vitali simply did not know how to defend himself or prevent his cuts from getting worse against Lewis. He missed 700 punches because Kingpin Johnson gave him a basic shoulder roll and a bit of head movement. Imagine how badly he's miss with Furys fast twitch head and upper body movement. There's just no way Fury will be standing flat foot in front in the middle of the ring like the majority of guys Vitali beat. At the end of the day Fury holds evey advantage to beat Vitali Speed , reach , IQ , defense , adaptability , physical strength. Slick > Stiff Fluid movement > ungainly awkward movement. Multi dimensional > One dimensional Inside game > zero inside game. There's nothing Vitali does better than Fury.
If you think Vitali has better footwork than Fury you don't know **** about boxing as Roger Mayweather would say.
