Fury is feather fisted so wouldn’t be able to stop Vitali coming forward. Vitali however doesn’t really have one punch power either and it’s hard to make a case for him stopping Fury. Close fight which could go either way.

As long as his shoulder doesn't go Vitali. Fury was excellent last time out but I never saw Vitali as tardy as Fury was vs Wallin including his two career losses which were injury mitigated. Wallin probably couldn't lace the gloves of Chris Byrd.

 

I wonder if both are the same height. Both look taller than Wlad.

 

Corrie Sanders would KO Fury. I am sure of that.

 

Great historical match, really great clash of styles.
Both would give each other a terrific beating, messy inside roughness, cheating/hugging, unorthodox haymakers....so difficult to predict.
Probably half the time, Vitali retires Fury and the other half Fury grinds out a points win.
I'd love to see it prime for prime that's for sure.

 

I'd rather wait until Fury fights someone like Joshua first before judging. I'd pick Vitali to beat 40 year old Wlad or Wilder.

If Fury slaughters Joshua, then It will give a good indication of his prime quality, and we'll get a good idea of what he's made of.

 

Vitali's output would be waaay too much for Fury to handle as he was a completely different type of fighter his brother was. Fury either needs to fight smaller fighters or low output/constantly resetting fighters to shine.

That said, prime Wlad would have beaten Fury 9 out of 10 too imo.

 

Vitali needed small and slow come forward plodders to shine.. Vitali couldn't shine against Kingpin Johnson when he missed 700 of his punches.
Fury had the style to make Vitali look awful.
