Watch the Pulev fight, Wlad wobbles from a jab in rd1 and is hurt in rd5, i'm not posting proofs. I've watched all his fights, if you aren't educated to have a discussion about it then don't call me out. Wlad changed his style to protect against getting KOd. Ask any boxing expert they all say Wlad's weakness is his chin, I haven't posted any kind of outlandish claim. Wlad's run has come from him restricting the amount of shots he takes, check the punch stats. All HBO talk about here is his chin pre and post fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHxfz_jm7CU
If what you're saying is true, then that was a rather bizarre post by the guy! I guess he isn't a member of your fan club. You've got a deal mate. If your prediction comes true, and they do not fight, that's a push. And to be fair such a scenario is a possibility... Fury drags his heels (knowing that Wlad has a year or two left at most) waits for Wlad to retire then takes his chance. Im not knocking such a tactic. After all, once Wlad retires there will be four belts up for grabs again. Catch you in another thread DV.
Ridiculous statement. Klitschko knocked Pulev down an then out literally seconds after absorbing those two punches. No way he was hurt there. You cannot jump inside and land that kind of hook on wobbly leggs. I used to like Fury a couple of years ago, even though people considered him clumsy, he actually progressed very well in his first years. But he is barely fit to spar with Wlad at this point.
Can't agree with that. Fury isn't going to avoid the opportunity to be the guy who beats Wlad. If he loses , he can come again. Wlad has more to lose . A lot more. Fury is desperate to fight Wlad. Theres nothing to suggest that he isn't. Because he ducked Price? That was years ago and he wouldn't have if Price was HW Champion. Its on K2's side if the fight falls through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yNnYQGRvGc
All are ineed reasonable points (Fury wanting to be the man, etc). That said, if the negotiations did fail do you really think that it would be down to K2??? I would have blamed Fury's camp? Especially when one considers the experience of both camps with regards negotiations for a world title fight. Not unless we are suggesting that Wlad is scared to fight Fury? Sorry Dino mate, I couldn't seriously consider Wlad being so scared of Fury that he makes such a derisory that Fury is compelled to turn it down.
I went with the cold, dry rationality. Mayweather all the way. I even bet real moneys on him. Not much by serial betters standards i guess, but i'm really sure of my pic. Whoever you choosed, good luck to you too. May the best boxer win, and the fight be clean and fair!
Im afraid thats what I believe. Wlad wouldn't even spar Fury when he was out in Germany. I saw Wlad at his best look lost against the movement of Thompson who came into the fight with an injured his leg. His movement was limited yet Wlad still struggled. He had to full nelson , head lock , maul , twart and grope Tony to exhaustion before so he could land the Knock out blow. Fury can replicate what Thompson did but to greater effect. And unlike Thompson , Fury has the size and inside game to avoid Wlad leaning on him. Wlad never fought an inside fighter like Fury in his life. It a bit too late to start now and I think Bounter feels the same. But if im wrong , im wrong.
Dude can you stop living in a dream? Where exactly Wlad was hurt in the 5th? Pulev hit him with Left- Right or smth. and Wlad takes them pretty well, there was nothing wrong with his legs, and so on. He fights the best and most dangerous fighters, a boxers with real KO power and take punch from most of them and guess what, 10 full years without even a single KD !!! Wlad won`t be beaten again and not even knocked down. There is nothing wrong with Wlad chin. In Peter 2, after break from referee and Wlad was with guard down, Peter hit him flush, clean with right hook and Wlads barely move, Chagaev do the same, no difference.
:thumbsup Best of luck, it would be a shame to see the end of RCS. I just hope you're taking out a tw at of a poster.... I hate it when two good posters get caught up in the moment and suggest a "duel to the death". In my mind, this fight is too close, even for a loony gambler like me (besides, Gleneagles is running in the 2000 Guineas).
Fury should have fought Ustinov.. No doubt about it!! And I slated Fury for what I believed to be a clear bottle job (even now his character can be called into question following that incident). But his Uncle Hughie (who was hospitalised prior to the Ustinov fight) did in fact die.
