    It wouldn't be such a problem if people stopped reposting this stuff and trying to generate hype.

    Fury's statements have only the vaguest connection to reality most of the time. Why do people persist in regaling the forum with those starements?

    According to WBC rules, a WBC champion should defend his title every year by fighting his mandatory challenger or anyone in WBC's top 10 rankings.

    Currently no mandatory challenger is designated. Joe Parker is in top 10. I think Fury will fight his good buddy Parker in a friendly match and close 2023.

    Add Danny Williams on the list, he's still active right? Plus he'd fight for peanuts compared to most. Perfect opponent for Fury, no threat and cheap. Can say he's giving Williams a Rocky Balboa underdog type title shot.
