Anyone with a brain knew it wasn't going to happen. Everyone with a brain knows Fury won't be fighting anyone anytime soon.

 

Fury won't fight any live body.

Jared Anderson would be a decent fight to make if they can't make a big one.

 

There never was a Fury vs Zhang...so how can it be off?

 

The sad thing is, given recent trends not just with him but boxing in general, that seems like it makes it the most likely to happen.

Being a boxing fan sucks sometimes.

Yes, it is. He ensured the Usyk fight wouldn’t eventuate (as the world has been witness to) and is now left to scramble to find an opponent who’s not absolutely laughable.

Joyce activating the rematch should come as no surprise. It was to be expected. It’s 100% Fury’s fault for not thinking of the ‘what if’s’ should the Usyk fight not happen.

I didn't even know Zhang was supposed to be fighting Fury. So this news is completely underwhelming.

Maybe Fury can arrange a celebrity fight against that Geordie youtuber, the one who roasted him in that interview. Or a rematch with Martin Rogan? So many possibilities.

 

The Fury team is trying to get a fight set up with Norbert Filberstein. He's an accountant but took a boxercise class about a decade ago.

I all seriousness, it's hard to not be disappointedin Fury. He's looking to make a little easy money rather than fight anyone with a pulse.
