I agree. Massive Fury fan, but genuinely would not surprise me if Zhang caught Fury with a big shot and stopped him. Zhang is a serious man, he doesn't come to play games.
I know but let's say two more fights within a year against guys like Whyte or Ruiz (winnable) and then a big showdown.
Arum said that, and get it finalized by this weekend? I have a better chance winning the lottery this weekend and becoming a millionaire. I hope both happen though. Fury risking it all against a very dangerous southpaw that's relatively unheralded, no way. A loss turns his career into a joke & another more mobile southpaw waiting for him. He stack up much better against t-rex Ruiz but he may me unmarketable due to legal issues. I expect another "C" level opponent if Fury fight this summer at all. They mush have some British fighter on stand by.
Going to be difficult to get in Zhang's head too, without speaking much English and all. I will be patiently awaiting Fury's appointed nickname for Zhang though. On a side note Big Bang Zhang is one of the best monikers in boxing.
I'm not in England so I can't say for sure, but I am guessing Zhang's profile exploded there amongst boxing fans after his thumping of Joyce.
Fury wins this by UD. He's not Joyce, he has far better head movement and footwork, and won't be leading with his head. As dangerous as Zhang is, Fury is too smart to let himself get caught unless he starts clowning around (which, of course, is always a possibility). But I don't see him taking Zhang lightly, especially after Zhang used Joyce's head as a speed bag. That's all assuming the fight actually gets made, which it won't. Fury has nothing to gain by taking it.
