He "won" the title in the worst "heavyweight title fight" I've ever seen.
He is so far from being a professional athlete, never mind a boxer, it is laughable.
This lazy bloated useless lump of a "boxer" is an embarrassment to boxing IMO.

Let me be quite clear, I am talking about him as a boxer now. I actually like him as a person and find him witty and entertaining.

But he IS a disgrace to boxing.

He needs to be stripped of his belts, doesn't deserve to be called the heavy weight champ anymore! He's a joke

I like big fury. Oversteps the mark on occasion. But looks like hes got some mental issues going on. I think its time to retire tbh. Hes done what he set out to do.

I rate him. On his night i dont think anyone currently in the heavyweight division beats him. But thats the problem no one including himself knows how hes gonna turn up to the ring. Dont think he gets the proper credit for what he did to wlad either. It wasnt an off form wlad. Fury just shut him down. First man to go there and not be scared imo used his reach. The distance. Footwork perfectly. Surprised more people dont see that. Fury was turning into a very good fighter...even how he dealt with chisora...i dont think anyone has as good as him including klitchko.

When he's right he's the best HW on the planet. He beats everyone. I still think he's got time to come back, he's only 28 for god sake.

Listen if he has mental health issues, and let's be honest if we where to ask anyone on this forum which current boxer do you think could be mentally unstable he would be right up there, then massive sympathy for him, talk on here that he doesn't fancy the fight is stupid, he went and beat him in his own backyard with everything against him.....feel he has became champ and expected it to be something great it hasn't turned out to be, loads of cash, drinking, eating, partying, nobody can judge until your in that position. People can disagree but if fury beats klit again, then beats wilder and Aj it will always be that first klit win that will be his best.....no motivation anymore, already done what he wanted, there is no bigger win out there.

If drug cheat then he's a foney and should be stripped and sued too. Hope he's not though cos what a character. Think he knew Klit will beat him that's the issue as he will be known as a lucky champ and he wants to be known in history as the G King!

Let's get one thing out of the way straight off the bat: Fury's win against Klit was not the worst heavyweight title fight ever. It was actually a reasonably decent scrap.

With regards to Fury, great fighter for a big man. Plenty of combinations, decent power in both hands, good movement. A decent heavyweight who wouldn't disgrace any era.

With regards to what has happened here - it's so obviously a mental issue rather than physical. Whether it's alcohol, drugs, general depression or whatever - the man clearly has problems. The press should shoulder their part of the blame. A man who should have been held up as a role model had the **** kicked out of him by people who aren't fit to clean his shoes. I hope he gets better, I think he will. Maybe he should have just done a Floyd and taken 2 years off. Sod the belts.

    Hypocrite.

He may have mental health issues but Haye needed surgery yet Fury deemed him pulling out as cowardly.

Fury has pulled out twice so can't say anything about Haye.

    This clearly.
He also pulled out of the Ustinov fight because he was getting "stitched up" because Ustinov turned up in shape. He ducked Price and dumped his Londsdale belt (that meant the world to him) and he ducked Pulev for the #1 spot... acts very immature and although Haye is a joke as well, should keep his mouth shut about that man's pullouts.

As a fighter he is world class, but the way he's conducted being a champion is embarrassing.

If he really is ill then I wish him all the best for the future but he should be stripped immediately.

As for TTS stating it was the worst heavyweight fight in history then you obviously don't know you're boxing. Yes it wasn't a great fight but right off the back I could name Haye v Harrison, Lewis v Akinwande and any of Hides defences as being much worse and that's only the UK's champs of the past.

An exciting and naturally talented fighter who became the HW lineal World champion, and then pissed it all away in the pub and on junk food.

Was not medically fit to fight, because he was in terrible shape too close to the fight, and lacked sufficient time to get himself into sufficient shape.

Has always been a bit of a nutter, his nut case persona was a big reason behind his win against Wlad. He literally spooked Wlad out.

There's absolutely no good reason to doubt he's mentally ill. He's suffered from depression for years. And there's good reason to believe he has been greatly disappointed and depressed over the way he's been received as champion, whether that's his own fault or not.
    It is what it is.

As a boxer he was good enough to beat Klitschko when no one else could. A past-prime Klitschko but still a good champion to have a win over. Whether we like the fight or not, it was a clear win. No one can ever take that away from him.

You have a point, but a difference is Fury already beat Wladimir Klitschko.

A bit pissed at him for derailing us boxing fans from watching big HW fights.

As long as he is put aside, as he is asking, and allows the division to continue, I'm OK with it. Let him recover in peace.

As for his reign as champion, he is just too disrespectfull and ridiculous. He has nothing to say yet won't shut his mouth. Oh, and no fights to speak of as well.
