Yeah the media and the general public made him say everything he's ever said... He needs to stop being a baby and take responsibility for his words and actions.

The only thing he can claim to have been 'stitched up' over is having been stripped by the IBF immediately. The shouldn't have done that but I bet they're especially glad they did now considering how he's carried on as champion.

Instead of him giving credit for one of the biggest and best wins by a British fighter in recent years, the media hounded him looking for any little snippet to jump onto and make into a story.

Yeah he said some daft things, but many of which were said in jest or tongue in cheek (e.g. women belong in the kitchen) which the media ran with to fill there columns, ridicule him and paint him as the bad guy. At a time when they should have actually been saying 'hang on, credit where it's due... not many gave Fury a chance, but he went into the lions den, came out of a dominant champs back yard with the belts and backed up his own words'.

He no doubt would benefit from media / PR training, but then what do you want? Another media robot like AJ who is like a 1980's Hulk Hogan on repeat... "stay humble"... "say your prayers, eat your vitamin's and drink your milk". Is that the real AJ??? I think not, at least Fury isn't putting on an act.

The Wlad win was massive, dethroning a man who had dominated the division for over a decade. I don't feel he got the credit he deserved and like you said, the IBF situation was a joke.

The above in addition to the drug allegations I think had made him fall out of love with the sport. He's actually a bit of a boxing historian and know's his ****, but with the lack of credit and now the drug allegations I think it's driven him to a bad place where he probably thinks f*ck this and has had enough.

This was a man who went to Germany with his own water bottles because he was scared they would give him water which was drugged, so in the case he did win they could play the steroid card. It's all a load of bollocks.

You lost me at "any little snippet". He kept opening his mouth and then cried off when people told him it's 2016 and a large section of society isn't cool with what he was saying.

Now, before you write me off as some bleeding heart liberal hear this: I think he has the right to say what he wants. Everyone else has that right too and if they say his views make him a dick then that's up to them. What bothers me most about him is his hypocrisy - AJ is a scumbag for drug dealing but his uncle is a lovely bloke. He's alright making bigoted comments but anyone who doesn't like him and his antics is automatically anti-gypsy. It's BS of the highest order.

Now in the drug allegations, it looks like he's about to be busted for nandrolone and for whatever reason refusing to take a test despite knowing how that looks to even the most impartial of observers. Again, this is highlights his hypocrisy - he's accused all and sundry of PED use when it looks like he's at least just as guilty.

The guy is beyond defending and that's why even posters like me, who in the past gave him lots of credit and defended him in spots have lost patience with him.

That's the spiel as given by Peter Fury. The worst comments (about Jews and gays) were released off an interview that Peter Fury was questioning him!
Then the "nobody likes us" card? Imagine how much stick they'd get if they were off a council estate with the criminal records of father and uncle.

I've liked him since the Wlad win, he really impressed me. I defended him for his comments many times.

But now...I don't. I don't buy the depression. And if it is true, why wait until now when people have forked out money AGAIN to see him before bringing the problem up. Far as I can see, this along with the drug allegations are starting to paint a picture of a team that wanted their big moment by any means necessary and to then create a colourful disappearance. Yes, it's cynical but there's just been too many lies

The man is a shameless cowardly fraud who won't face up to the drug allegations like a man. He has has shamelessly used mental health as alibi so he can go into hiding while distancing himself from all responsibility

Instead at this very moment, him and his filthy family are scrabbling around through the back pages looking frantically for the dodgiest doctor in town, so they can flush the big bucks in front of his face so he does their bidding in concocting up a fake medical to give them more time to stall and hold those belts hostage.

All those who harbour sympathy towards Fury and become drunk with conspiracy fantasises need flushing down the drain, along with that overgrown drug dealing lying piece of trash Peter Tyson who has no qualms drugging up his own children for the dollar.

When did Fury call AJ a scum bag for drug dealing?

I don't know if the depression is real or not.
I think it might be real but I also think Tyson Fury might just want to retire but has been talked out of it too many times by his family and his promoter. He's in limbo.

The theory that he's been busted for drugs and that's why he's doing all this is valid. But I don't think it's the most likely, since top-earning athletes survive drugs scandals and get around tests all the time.
A more likely scenario is that he's done what needs to be done to get out of fighting Klitschko again. It was a rematch clause that he should never have agreed too. Perhaps if he forces Klitschko to take another fight the contract becomes void? Or something like that.

C'mon, are you really going to pretend you've never heard him say that? He's whined on about how the public love a drug dealer whilst he gets shunned.

I have heard him mention AJ being a drug dealer but that's a lot different to what you're implying.
You're saying Fury thinks/says AJ is a scumbag for dealing drugs. No, I don't think I've ever heard him say that. Maybe he has, he says all sorts of stuff, but I'm asking to see where he says that......

In fact, when I've heard him mention it it's probably been more a case of Fury lambasting the media/public for picking out his (Fury's) errors and painting him as a horrible person who they love to hate, while ignoring that the "golden boy" (AJ), who they love to love, has a criminal record for dealing drugs.

It was on one of the thousand long youtube video rants I've lost time I'll never get back to.

As has been explained to you multiple times the media turned on him after he kept saying things that the public at large weren't going to be cool with. If AJ said the same things he did then you best believe that his reputation would go down the tube just as quickly. He forgets that he was nominated for the Sports Personality of the Year award and that he was previously invited on to appear on Comic Relief.

The fact he isn't on chat shows and well loved by the public is because he's made bigoted comments and shown himself to be both a liar and a hypocrite.

Anyway, you've decided it's all a big conspiracy against him so I'm wasting my time here. If you want to ignore his behaviour and continue making excuses for him be my guest. Just don't ask the rest of us to agree.
