HE never ducked Chisora. He was slated to fight him and then had his legal trouble.

You could make a stronger argument that Fury has ducked Wilder than Wilder has ducked Chisora.

Not necessarily. If there is a unification bout he could go for undisputed first.

But if Fury doesn't take that fight right away, he does need to fight Povetkin after whoever he fights in January.

Povetkin beats Wilder. Wlad wins the rematch with Fury

Povetkin vs Wlad 2 unification is likely to happen at some point

Fury won the fight by not engaging in anything except the grab and hit.

Those body shots he was landing during the clinch were the difference in the punch #s. MOF....they made up the LARGE majority of his power punches.

It needs to be Wlad throwing the shots in the clinch rather than Fury if he's gonna recapture his title.

That or lead with the L hook as he did later in the fight.:huh

Well he's contractually obligated to give the rematch to Wladimir, so Wilder has to probably wait around a year or so before he can take on the winner.

WHile I think Wlad should just retire now, it would be great to see a rematch. The HW division needs the top guys fighting each other on a regular basis and not taking on these ridiculous mandatories. The division is relatively weak from a talent pool perspective, so the top guys should be fighting against one another a lot more often just to keep the division relevant.

Hopefully the winner takes on Wilder so there's a unified HW champion again by the end of 2016.
