I see the uk media have starting turning against fury a little now, he'll be moaning and crying about that like after the klit fight soon
if he doesn't buck his ideas up he'll be ripped to shreds by the media!

He wants the people to love him yet he makes it sooo difficult at times, he's become unbearable since the ego took over fully, sadly!

He'll be his own undoing, again, no doubt.

I used to be a fan, but I gotta say it's hard to keep it up now with the constant farcical behaviour.

    Sad really.

His fans aren't getting Punched in the ring. He has the right to maximize his earnings during the short window he has.

The way Tyson's mind is that money a) won't be a benefit to him, and b) will be gone in a couple of years.

Best thing John can do is keep out of Tysons boxing career ! When they had the fall out and Tyson went with Ben Davison,ok Davison wasn’t the right choice but Tyson was in a better place and seemed a lot more content and predictable as well as being more approachable . Not sure if Tyson can or can not fight in America but when he’s over there his father certainly has less input. It’s not just Tysons father however a lot of fighters fathers also get too involved and not always at the benefit of there sons they obviously think what there doing is right for there sons but it’s not always the case .

That’s not the problem. What more, financial goals are not a problem at all, they are called prize fighters for a reason.

The problem is the discrepancy between Fury’s words and actions. And I’m not even referring to the trash talking thing here so you cannot defend him by the usual “oh but he is just selling the fight”.

On the one hand, he keeps claiming he is the greatest fighter ever, and on the other hand, he only fought two top HWs since 2015 despite Usyk, Joshua, Joyce, Ruiz, Zhang, Bakole, Makhmudov have all shown interest in fighting him. Why didn’t any of these fights materialise in the past years? Does anyone seriously believe that it’s always the other party causing the fight to collapse?

Fury claims he doesn’t get involved in fight terms negotiations as it damages his mental health. Then goes on to do the exact opposite, demanding purse percentages, fight venues, deadlines etc.

He claimed he was in training camp for the Usyk fight while his own trainer denied it and his own cousin Andy Lee revealed he never even had a proper sparring partner.

He claimed that he gave his entire purse from the first Wilder fight away to charity - yet all evidence points to that it never happened.

He claimed that he would be the first in line to fight for Ukraine if the UK got involved the war. Not only he didn’t do that when the UK started to send supplies and guns to Ukraine but he refused to agree to Usyk’s terms for accepting 30 percent for the undisputed bout about donating one million pound to Ukraine.

He claimed that he had to fight Chisora as a voluntary title defence last December because nobody else wanted the fight in the WBC top 15. We all know that this was also a lie as Ruiz, Sanchez, Bakole, Ruiz, Makhmudov, Kossobutskiy etc. were never contacted about a possible bout.

He claimed to want to fight Usyk early last year. Then he demanded a tune up against Whyte instead (in what universe does Whyte, a slow, orthodox plodder tune you up for a fight against the slick, skilled, quick southpaw Usyk) then “I’ll deal with the middleweight straight after, you’ll all see”. So what did he do after beating Whyte easily? Announced his “retirement” and has been running from Usyk ever since.

I’m not going to list all the instances about Fury’s lies. If you don’t get the point by now you won’t ever get it.

The problem with Fury is that he is a gaslighting con man so don’t make it sound like people have a problem with him just because he wants financial security. He is a greedy, pathological, bare-faced liar who holds the WBC strap hostage and stalls and derails the whole HW division.

Fury when he was green - Feet not quite up to speed, trying to move out of the way of fire using his feet but not quite fast enough but able to his size to negate this issue.

Fury under Peter - Feet up to speed, nobody able to touch him if he wants

Fury under Ben - EVEN MORE defensive minded, which IS NOT A GOOD THING when you're a 275 pound man with unlimited stamina - WHY GIVE YOUR OPPONENT BREATHING ROOM? and why try to cut weight to be trim, be a heavyweight. A mistake Fury now understands.

This is the main thing Sugar Hill has been trying to change from Fury. Fury at heart is either a defensive outboxer or a hurt come forward war horse come who is coming to steal your wife and soul. Wilder 2 was the execution of what Hill had been teaching Fury and it was done beautifully. Wilder 3 he was out of shape and resorted back to outfighting and not applying that forward pressure in the correct fashion but his iron will still prevailed.

As people have said Fury is a total veteran, he does what he wants and feels is right in that ring. He doesn't even need a trainer. The biggest drawback for BOTH Fury & Usyk right now is their ailing bodies. They know how to do tactics, they know what works and doesn't. They know how to adapt.

You think Floyd needed a trainer for that last 10 years of his career? not really, none of them guys he fought had a patch on him.

He doesn't need a trainer because he's not fighting anyone.

Peter wasn't with him, he had his spit bucket man in his corner and basically just fought how he wanted. Goading the little man then just making a war out of it.

And he illegally blocked Cunningham’s eyes with his left hand to then KO him with his right. What a sporting, proud moment.

In any case, you are contradicting yourself again. When SugarHill confirmed he was never in the UK this spring to train Fury, your (and I mean the whole of the Fury cult) narrative was that Fury didn’t need a trainer anyway as he knows what to do in the ring. And now you argue that the Cunningham fight was difficult for him because his trainer at the time, Peter wasn’t with him?

    Make up your mind, mate.

If someone comes around with a tank full of money, he'd be a fool to say no.
