Yer at first I thought he might be just collecting a pay cheque for his lineal status but he definitely is taking this fight seriously... Whether it will make a difference to the result of not is another matter.. I still think he needed more time given the issues he has had between Wlad and now but I suppose if anyone can it will be Tyson Fury...
People saying he is cashing out are ******ed. He did not lose 130 pounds and beat cocaine and depression to cash out. Fury wins every round until Wilder quits.
You may be right, nobody could deny him those two tune ups and he went straight from those into training for Wilder. I really hope he comes out aggressively as the best I’ve seen of him was the 2nd Chisora fight.
That never made sense to me anyway as he could of fought in the U.K. for a payday,he actually thinks he can beat Wilder easily and after Wlad who am I to argue.
As much as I want Fury to outbox and run rings around Wilduh, I don't want him to ruin our chance of seeing Wilduh sparked out cold by AJ and the amount of tears on here by certain deluded "posters" and a larger cult on Youtube.
The pearlike (drop) shape is nature's most effective shape. That's why raindrops take that shape on the way down.
Unlikely. Last time I saw him in a public workout he was clearly carrying some extra weight, you could see his huge love handles giggle under his T-shirt. He'll be in the best shape he's been in since coming back but he won't be below 250lbs like he was vs Wlad.
Its the enormous weight gain , bad life style and substance abuse thats the problem , not the inactivity. Vitali was fit and prime to fight anytime during his 4 year lay-off. It was only two years after his retirement when he tried to fight Oleg Maskaev and would have if the WBC hadn't given the shot to #1 rated Sam Peter. Fury could roll out of bed and easily beat a washed up never any good to begin with Samuel Peters .
It doesn't matter what kind of shape the gypsy king comes in at now. The devastating bronze bomber will be the most dangerous opponent he's ever faced. Expect wild swings, and roundhouse punches. If Fury some how survives the full 12 rounds. He won't be winning no decision in the states, the bomb squad will see certain of that. This will be easiest lineal title win in history lol.
The two exhibition "fights" that Fury has had after coming through fat camp, is going to prove inadequate when faced by an extremely athletic and fast moving fighter like Wilder. This could legimitately be an embarrassment for Fury unless he is actually being real, and has taken the training for this extremely seriously.
