Needs to get his ass in there with The Number One heavyweight in the world first before being hit with those kind of compliments. One thing about Usyk is, if he had beat Wladimir and ended his 11 year reign… he would’ve had enough respect for him AND the sport to give him the rematch.
From my pov, Fury hasn't done nearly enough to even be considered a great HW champion. As it stands right now, if I were a list-maker, he'd probably be ranked somewhere around 25-30 all-time.
Since you're the one who started the thread, I will ask you. What records do you believe Tyson will break?
If pie eating contests are history, then i agree that the bloated gypsy liquor sponge will reign supreme.
Joe Louis had 25 title defenses in approaching 12 years-even though despite easily being the best HW in the world during WW2 & fighting much exhibition fights for the Army, he could not add to that number for at least 3 & a half years. An eerie echo of the enforced time off of both champs Ali & Tyson! Fury does not have the mental toughness to fight tnearly hat often, let alone against all valid challenges/comers.
