Quite a few ppl saying if fury comes back at his peak he will school joshua.

But he has been out of the ring for 2.5 years, clinically depressed abusing drugs and alcolhol and became obese.

Personally i think he will come back at 70-80%

Will that be enough to beat Joshua? Not sure.

Do I think that a Tyson Fury at 80 per cent of what he was boxes AJ to a wide, boring UD win? Yes.

AJ is an easier opponent for Tyson Fury to implement his style against than Wladimir was. AJ is terrible and predictable on the outside which is where Tyson Fury excels. Tyson Fury exploits AJs main weakness all ends up.

The good thing for AJ though is that Tyson Fury doesn’t crack an egg, so he can come again from a UD loss.

On Wlad- No HW can ever be considered elite at 40. The history books back that up.

I don't get all the hype around Fury. He is the only person who has enhanced his reputation by not boxing. I give him credit for beating Klit in Germany but before that he had faced no-one and everyone are just hyping him up just for that one fight. My personal opinion was that Fury got Klit just at the right time of his career and all the idiot pranks which Fury did during the build up just confused klit which distracted him.
I think AJ beats Fury because he has more power and I cannot see Fury ever getting back to his best but then I still don't think his best is good enough.

The Fury - Klitschko performance was a once in a lifetime performance. He hasn’t performed like that before the fight or after.

He’s had one title fight his entire fight which was the only time he fought a top 15 fighter too.

He gets better each week he’s out the ring in people’s imaginations.

If Haye wouldn’t have bottled it he would have took him apart.

Fury could come back the same and I'm still not convinced he wins.

His career is based off one fight vs Vlad. One fight and that's it.

Lol at the he gets better each week in peoples imaginations! Laughing because it is true i cant lie!

But Scissors i like you and honestly i really respect your opinion but whats this about Haye would of took him apart lol. I thought Fury would of schooled him and Haye didn't really want none of Fury.

You think Haye would of Knocked him out? Or would he of boxed his way to victory?

Like i said, you have good knowledge in boxing so im not hating!

Just personal opinion. I think the fury who beat Klitschko beats most heavyweights from this era. But as I’ve said that’s a one off performance! If he comes back and does it again then there’s no denying he’s the man. Haye was a monster in his prime though. He’s ruined his career by coming back, fighting bums, losing to bellew etc. But let’s not forget he’s one of the best British heavyweights of all time.

It will be remarkable if Fury can come back from what he's been doing these last 2 or 3 years.
You have to doubt he can .... You have to doubt he even has the will to try .... But you can't write him off either.
Perhaps it's best now to forget about the man until that moment he actually steps foot in a ring for an official fight again.

Fury surprised most of us by defeating Wlad in the manner he did. With ease. But to be fair, he'd been a vastly improving boxer over the preceding years too.
In hindsight his measured displays against Chisora 2 and Hammer weren't bad at all either, regardless of the mediocre quality of those "contenders". He totally schooled them both.

Unfortunately Fury walked away in his prime, just when he was on the cusp of proving if he indeed was a special talent of this era. We may never know.

Don’t see how Fury could come back at the same level. Slimy Eddie desperate to make the Joshua fight without a warm up.

And if he did come back and the fight was similar to Fury v Wlad, would Fury get the decision? No bloody chance! I remember Radio 5 thought Wlad was going to get the nod against Fury.

So is there actually talk of Fury coming back and fighting Joshua straight away? Last i heard he wanted a couple of easy fights then a biggun...there has been so much talking i can't keep up!

If he did come back and fight AJ straight away that would be crazy! Would have even more respect for Fury if he did...and in my opinion he beats AJ!!! No warm up fights needed!!!!

I think Tyson’s done the hardest part which is motivating himself to shift that weight. He looks in good nick. I think it’s worth bearing in mind that the fundamentals of boxing were drubbed into him long before he stepped inside a gym. It’s deeply ingrained in him. He is without doubt, unquestionably the best ‘boxing’ heavyweight in the world. His footwork, movement, jab, feints, ring IQ, range, shot selection it’s all top notch, and to top it off he’s 6”9.

I agree that he’s got better (in the majorities conscience) the longer he’s been out the game. I disagree though that the Klitschko fight was a one-off great performance. He was building up to that. The way he beat both Chisora and Hammer was superb. They are two very tough, robust men and he made them quit.

Joshua gets beat if he tries to box him. I will happily debate why I think that. I would never write Joshua off, he’s number one but he’d have to work on a different plan with Fury because boxing wouldn’t work.

If Fury get's back to 90% of the Wlad fight, the only chance AJ would have is to try and rush him. Fury don't have the best chin.I don't think any heavy will out box Fury.

Exactly - I think this often gets overlooked. Tyson, like BJS, has been boxing as soon as he could walk. Wilder and Joshua didn’t even start properly until they were adults.

People talk about the 10,000 hours theory to ‘master’ something. Tyson has put in hours during his formative years, this gives me more faith he can leave and pick up where he left off.
