Tyson Fury will put it straight on Anthony Joshua as soon as the bell rings.

Tyson Fury will walk Anthony Joshua down like he did Wilder. Many people believe the Fury-AJ fight will be like Fury-Klitschko.

-EDIT People doubting Kronk Fury will make the victory even sweeter

Horrible gameplan. Him putting it on wilder has no say in how much success he'd have against Aj with that same plan because Aj has a lot more tools than wilder and is a better inside fighter in general. As a matter of fact it would probably make the fight MUCH easier for Aj if fury attempted that. Look up Gary Cornish vs Anthony Joshua and thats what would happen if fury tried to walk Joshua down

Fury just needs to jab to the body and jab his face off. Be extremely elusive and stay a good distance from him and only show any sort of aggression when Aj gasses. And even thats relatively dangerous

Just because he did it to Wilder it doesn't mean it will work against fighters who can box.
Even Wallin was not KOed and hurt Fury in the last when he gassed.

    Calm down.

That’s the advice I’d give to anyone who believes Fury is unintelligent enough to try and walk AJ down. AJ is not Wilder.

Wilder is a deformed idiot savant supervillain with an unfortunate and unshakable belief that he didn’t need to learn to box. Fury ate his soul for it. Full stop.

The Wilder fight was the exception, not the rule as even Otto Wallin hurt Fury.

wouldnt consider this so much of an 'unpopular opinion' as I would more as wishful thinking from a delusional fan.

Fury knows what time it is. he will continue his streak of undefeated tomatoe cans like Shwartz and Walin on ESPN and continue living off his win over Wilder.
he has no intentions of stepping in the ring with AJ. he's had years to make that fight happen

He could do that. Because in the Wilder fight he still entered with feints and pressed forward carefully, he didn't just come forward like a brawler. And Ruiz pressed forward against AJ. So I don't see why Fury couldn't do that. It's another way of gassing AJ also.

Fury wins this 10/10 when boxing on the outside. He only risks losing a lot more taking the fight to AJ, which is AJ's only chance.

Pressuring Wilder is sensible because Wilder has nothing close range. Joshua has everything close range.

No way. He could physically bully Wilder because he was the stronger and taller man. There were a few people on here, myself included, who thought Wilder was always extremely vulnerable if you put him on the back foot and took risks. You can't do that against AJ because AJ is far more comfortable on the back foot.

The choice to attack Wilder was a specific ONE-OFF gameplan for Wilder and nobody else.

Fury will go back to his usual box and move style against AJ. He can't physically bully AJ, he's met his match there. So there is no incentive for him to attack in this fight.

This is unpopular because the notion is silly. He won't walk him down to begin with. Fury will use his slick footwork and jab at him from angles he can't see them coming from. If he breaks him down and has him puffing later on then he'll walk AJ down and stop him.

 Why do posters think a fighter will change his style for one particular opponent all the time??

I'm not sure Wallin is actually that weak a puncher. He's a big ass dude and he had a very good gameplan that night, came to rough Fury up and stop him. He was hardly going to outbox him over twelve and a man that big throwing with intent will hurt someone if they land clean.
Most people can punch pretty well if they use proper technique, it's just a matter of style and risk taking.

You believe he hits as hard as AJ? I’m not super familiar with his work so it’s a genuine question... not me being an ass.

Not even close haha but I'm just saying he can probably punch reasonably well. I'd say it's mid tier, like Chisora level power.
