I really think Tyson needs him in his corner even for some advice between rounds. What experience does his new trainer have? Tyson will just do what he wants and that’s not gonna end well

Certainly looks from IG and Twitter as though Tyson and Ben have a pals relationship as opposed to trainer/fighter. I can't see Ben reading the riot act or commanding Tyson in the corner, whereas Peter instantly commands respect. I think all fans of Tyson would prefer to have Peter in there and I hope that is the case if and when he boxes Joshua or Wilder.

FYI, the new trainer Ben was the bloke in BJS's corner against Akavov when a lot of viewers in the RBR observed that his instructions seemed poor.

I'm on the fence with this.

Peter is a tactical genius who produces measured controlled results but his style is defensive and often boring to watch.

Tyson 'off the leash' could be very interesting indeed.

Yep, he was horrendous that fight.

Any idea on who he has actually trained outside of that performance with BJS?

Tyson isn’t known for his offence and punching power...his strength is his defence and reach advantage...

I think Davidson is a temporary measure who will be with him for the first 3/4 bum fights only. Fury has been up to the Ingle gym a few times sines BJS joined and I would not be surprised to see him go this route for the big one. Dom would be licking his lips at getting his hands on those HW belts.

See the Cunningham fight, where Peter was refused entry.

I'd rather Peter over Dom tbh. Has Dom Ingle ever trained a HW? Barring McDonagh Peter trains exclusively HW boxers, he knows the game and Tyson inside out. Until Tyson loses at least, I'd like to see him stick with Peter. Peter is also a boss in press conference and in handling the media. Ben Davison - I'll give him a chance but I can't see him tearing into Higgins like Peter did, or admonishing Don Charles when big Don insulted Tyson at the rematch press conference.

28:15 (also this is my favourite press conference of all time, lol)

Peter protects Tyson and that's so important for him IMO.

For the bums that Tyson will be facing my Gran could train him.

I think the Ingles could be a good fit for him long term if he does stick around.

I wasn’t really a fan of Peter until he gave his honest opinion that his son didn’t do enough to beat Parker. He did this whilst in the background his nephew Tyson and his brother stormed around claiming the government and other nonsense where trying to sabotage them.

Perhaps Peter has told Tyson the stuff he doesn’t want to hear - that can be the only explaination

Big fan of when Peter owns Higgins too.

Ingle has also been known to throw his weight around at pressers would like to see him up against Peter.

Tyson isn't a puncher so off the lease means he will get dropped if he try's to stand close and have a war with the bigger punchers. We don't know what sort of fighter he will be after 2 years off

Fury can knock fighters out, he’s got a serious dig on him but he doesn’t plant his feet and peppers his opponent into retiring on their stool. He’s 6”9 and best part of 20 stone, and he’s fast....he can proper hurt if he wants to. This is isn’t a lad in his mid 20’s now, this is a bloke who’s turning 30. You develop more power.
