Exactly, entertaining. It's the traditional expectation of Heavyweight boxing. Heavy hitters with knock-downs and KO's. Most people were moaning about the Klitschko win.
I think he was embarrassed of Tysons twitter and actions outside the ring, his Dad said "its not him" so i'd say they thought he was being pathetic. Probably after a fight or two and Peter will be back like you say !
He wasn't almost KO'd. He took what would surely be Cunningham's biggest possible shot and went down. His legs were absolutely fine
Exactly. He took a great shot whilst standing square and fell backwards. It was amateurish from Fury but no way was he wobbled or hurt, only his pride. Note the knockout in round 7, that shows that Fury can knock an opponent unconscious.
With regards to the actual topic, it'd hard to really see that not having Peter will help in any way. He made him the awkward fighter he is and Peter has a calmness about him. Not to say he cannot be a success without him of course, so it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out. You have to assume he won't really need anyone of particular use for his first couple of fights
Dave Allen sparred Tyson today. He said Tyson looked good and that with a few more months training and a couple of fights he believes he will be pretty much exactly where he was. He always speaks highly of Tyson, so perhaps being a little kind but I don't see that he has much reason to lie.
He has Kash Ali now, and in the past he's trained Richard Towers, Dave Allen, David Howe. So he's not had much success with the big boys
Agree he's powerful. The speed also adds power. If he never had power do people not think Klitscko would have closed range more often ? There will be very little power wise between AJ and Fury. We're seen in last two AJ fights were he's not been planting the feet the Same he's not taking opponents out, because he's realised doing so makes him more vulnerable to the counter attack.
This its a temporary trainer just while he gets the weight off and gets sharp. Once he steps into harder fights he will leave the PT and get a real boxing trainer. He didnt rule out going to back to Peter either. The reason he left Peter was for a change of voice/change of environment
I don't know about you guys, but I feel we owe alot of respect to Ben Davison for bringing Tyson's sprit back to normal. Ok, he may be a massive yes man, but that's what Tyson needs until he has that fully fledged confidence back. Tyson will be more nervous for this comeback than the Klit fight. He needs 2/3 fights with Davison to build back up that proper Fury confidence then who knows Good luck to the both of them
isnt peter the one egging on and filming tyson talking about bestiality or something daft then uploads it to youtube, less than a week after the media have gone to hysteria town against tyson for uploading a similar video to youtube? when it came to pure boxing issues peter and tyson worked well together, talked a lot of sense were good to watch and listen to. but honestly, it suprises me how well tyson turned out when you consider the people around him and the way they are.
"10 grand is what I give the kids to go to the shop and buy sweets..." And Don Charles would of got weighed in. He's out of his tiny mind thinking he could trouble Tyson. And Peter would batter him too.
