I said next week. And that info is from Eddie Hearn. The fight is already being agreed for August 26th. Not my problem you missed the details. And the fight took so much time, for one sole reason, the supposed Dubois injury, and Frank was stalling all the negotiation, and has done everything to delay the fight. For obvious reason.
I don't think even this is correct. I think even this is wrong. I think, though i'm not sure, that the most recent postponement of the fight was something to do with Usyk wanting to fight it on a Ukrainian national holiday or something. Yeah, checked, it is: https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/box...daniel-dubois-fight/n8w0v8t2piv2173k54ga3xse7 Speaking to TVP Sport, Krassyuk said “Wroclaw is home to many Ukrainians. The fight will take place at the stadium for 24,000 people. We had to change the date from August 12 to August 26. Because it is Ukraine's independence day. It's the perfect date to set up a fight with Dubois. We couldn't waste it.” Not my fault you missed the details
So the last excuse from Fury team not wanting the December fight, and hopefully being delayed for January is, they don't want to wait for the Saudi offer for the supposed December fight, and that Saudi are nolonger just staging a fights, but an active promoters, so they see them as a rivals or so. The mental gymnastics Warren and his PR team need to do, to try to justify Fury ducks is absolutely insane. The guy is going down in history as the biggest duck walking God's green earth.
Muhahhahaa nice trying in trolling, this is old news, like almost month old. This was posted already, but you forget that the fight goes on Purse bid, and it was super delayed, thanks to Fury manager, aka the Snake Eyes.
I'm not trolling, and I didn't say it was new. You said that "Frank was stalling and everything was done to stall the deal" but the most recent postponement was clearly Usyk pushing back the fight. Worth mentioning in the light of that post I think. But I can tell you're very emotional about this so i'll leave you be. Last word I'd give is: i'm still not 100 percent convinced this fight will take place. As I said, I can't see tickets for sale, I can't see it listed on any ABC website as a forthcoming title fight and it's not on Boxrec. I don't think the fight makes that much sense for Dubois - who has almost no chance - or Usyk. Fights like that fall out of bed all the time. Chances of this fight going ahead somewhere in the region of sixty percent IMO.
What the hell is going on here? The story of 2023 at HW is that *no one* is fighting, or at least not in meaningful fights. Fury, Usyk and Wilder all have been inactive and for Usyk and Wilder, that’s especially troubling because they are old. Fury is younger but obviously gets into trouble when he’s restless. Beyond the top four, others such as Ruiz and Hrgovic also have gone dark. Joshua fought a nothing opponent, but he’s still ahead of the pack. The only progress the division has made this year is Big Bang vs Joyce. Credit to them. And Jared Anderson is fighting. But it has been a **** show top to bottom.
Bro you are literally having no idea what the heck is talking about. The fight goes on purse bid. Usyk team won, so they decide the date and venue. They was thinking of August 12, but they changed it straight away to 26th. And yeah there is still not an official announcement. And if Dubois pulls out, how is that an Usyk fault ? Usyk is in training camp already for the fight, just like he was in for the Fury fight, in case you are wondering why didn't he fought this year yet.
I agree with @Brixton Bomber You do seem to have an angle for not just wanting to discuss inactivity as a general phenomenon in the HW division and mentioning Usyk among others. You are specifically interested in discussing Usyk's inactivity, without context and mentioning how he is no more inactive than his peers and how his circumstances (war in his home country and Fury's time wasting twice in one and a half years) contributed to his situation, hence making it look and sound like Usyk is more inactive than others, so much so that it is worth talking about his inactivity specifically.
Hrgovic's behaviour is almost beyond belief. He and Usyk are the longest in the garage but Usyk already has his millions. God knows what kind of advice Hrgovic is getting, he was trying to get in line for Usyk at one point himself.
Yeah, you boys are all obsessed with "agenda" and "blame" and "fault" it is absolutely crazy. He is more inactive than others. He's the least active top 12 type HW apart from Hrgovic who is almost exactly the same. There might be another one i've forgotten, but most of the top guys have been out since him.
Here are the top (ish) 12 guys and when they've been out, in descending order: Parker: May Zhang: April Sanchez: April Joyce: April Joshua: April ----------------------- Fury: December Wilder: December Whyte: November -------------------------- Ortiz: September Ruiz: September ------------------------------ Usyk: August Hrgovic: August Do you know what that means? That means Usyk needs to get out for a fight. Like I said. It's important for him. It's important for him because if the fight falls through, he will probably end up going into a huge fight with no fight in 16 months and 12 rounds in two years. This is bad for him.
So he is more inactive than Ruiz who fought twice since December 2019 or he is more inactive than Wilder who fought twice since February 2020? And more inactive than Fury who fought twice since October 2021, including a laughable sparring contest against a 40-year-old, 12-losses has-been which he didn't even train for? Okay. You can't even say you didn't know about these things as I mentioned them to you earlier. If that doesn't prove you do have an agenda, I don't know what does.
