i know a lot of Fury fans won't agree or like my view but I think Fury was a flash in the pan and would've lost against last nights Wlad (or any Wlad rematch had he not chickened out TWICE). When Fury comes back I predict he will not get to his former level. I reckon he will come back and in a couple of comeback tune ups look very lack lustre......we'll see though time will tell!

You're probably right the Fury who beat Wlad beats this version of AJ, I've been saying for ages AJ struggles with movement.

But this statement comes with a caveat. We don't know if Fury will be the same fighter if he comes back, we may have very well seen peak Fury for one time only, much like guys like Douglas and Bowe, his prime I suspect lasted one night and one night only.

Also AJ is improving with each fight, by the time Fury can get himself in shape AJ may be a vastly improved fighter, but of course this is all hypothetical.

But I'll also add if AJ is forced to chase Fury he has a skill set much more suited to this than Wlad. While I think AJ in essence is more a counter puncher he can force the fight when needed to, unlike Wlad. Fury will have a tougher time with AJ and he did with Fury, not because AJ is much better than Wlad, because he obviously isn't but because his style will make it harder for Fury.

Nah. Fury doesn't have the power to keep AJ off, and Josh won't be scared to throw like Wlad was.

Even if AJ is getting out boxed he will just eventually decide to walk through Fury. Cunningham almost stopped him purely because he wasn't afraid to throw.

AJ doesn't have the work rate or foot speed to trouble Fury. Wouldn't be surprised if it looked similar to Calzaghe vs Lacy. He'd need to develop much quicker movement to get in on Fury to bust him up.
Joshua is beatable because his stamina and endurance will always be a problem but then there aren't a lot of guys out there that match up to Fury at his best.

Fury wouldn't need incredible power to keep AJ off him. He'd use intelligent footwork and a jab and right hand to put AJ off balance. Boxing lesson.

You think Cunningham almost stopped Fury?

    Th
I'd favour Fury to beat Joshua.

In saying that though, Joshua shown a unique ability tonight that when the chips are down he can flick the switch and unleash hell like no other fighter at elite level can do.

It will be a hell of a fight.

Every body has a X would do this x would do that speech, Actions speak louder than words, Fury needs to get off his fat ass and stop running his mouth and back up what he say's.

Its the fight i want to see the most, I rate both fighters but only one of them is out here putting in the work and taking on all challenges.

Joshua is so stiff even at 41 years old Klitschko was the quicker, faster, better conditioned fighter, with superior foot work. What a bulked up stiff. Fury would outbox Joshua from the outside easy.

The only reason Joshua won is becuase Wlad is gun shy, he won't let his hands go enough, because he is not called Dr. Iron chin and he has to protect that chin very closely at all times. Wlad definitely should took him out when had Joshua out on his feet for 3 rounds or whatever.

Lol you're exaggerating by comparing it to Calzaghe/Lacy. Unless of course Calzaghe only threw 371 punches against Lacy instead of the 1000 odd he actually threw. Fury isn't some offensive high volume puncher like Calzaghe was, he'll try and pitty pat his way to a decision. He'll win but it will be nothing like the beating Calzaghe put on Lacy.

I doubt Fury will be in the shape of 2015 again. At 30 he will probably be done like Bowe because of his junk diet and beer lifestyle. Elite athletes that exist like Fury are washed up by 30. Joshua KO's him and does not go life and death like last night.

Fury would be too smart for Joshua .unless Joshua gets lucky with a big shot or speeds up his Feet.Fury could make Joshua look limited in a dull fight.

    True words.
But AJ has only just come close to catching up with Fury's accomplishment (and Fury's win over Wlad is still better) so this might be the right time/motivation for Fury to come back.
It seems he's been doing a bit of work this last week and seems to be talking sense eventually. Too early to say whether it will materialize into a serious comeback but we should all hope that is the case.

Fans and haters alike should be hoping Fury comes back.
