I'm personally more critical of Mayweather than Fury, since Floyd performed like that constantly while being established "p4p 1", Fury did it in championship fight stepping up in quality and while a huge underdog.
lol The legend of Fury grows in his absence, just like his waistline. Joshua is still rough around the edges but he would walk through Fury and stop him.
Boxing is throwing and landing as few punches as possible to nick rounds? Really? Mayweather never had the embarrassing low output Fury did. Do you also think that 'feignting' and using uppper body moment scores points?
Soon they will be telling us Fury was throwing 100 punches a round and doing back flips and cartwheels while landing 99% of his punches. It is like they didn't watch that **** fest of a fight.
Fury will comeback again iam very Sure he is Not old , he has enough Time to recover ,and for his size his Speed and movement Footwork are amazing Tysons Boxingstyle and Ring IQ are to much for A.J and Wilder
Or even a jab and a LEFT hand, if Fury decides to switch southpaw early on, and really aim to befuddle Joshua.
Feinting and movement can prevent the other person from throwing punches.... Negating punches goes a long way towards scoring points... Fury completely shut Wlad down. That's skill. That's defense. That's damn impressive.
You told me it was scoring though. As if inactivity in a fight is to be rewarded. That isn't the case and it also shows you don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.
Boxing is boxing. Doesn't matter if you throw a few punches or a thousand punches, when it comes to scoring it's about outscoring the opponent in front of you. The boxer with the better scoring shots wins the round 10-9. Fury did better than Wlad in almost every round. He outboxed Wlad clearly. Not sure what you're failing to see there.
Nobody disputed that Fury won. We have people calling it a masterclass and a schooling. You realize just because Fury won it isn't automatically a masterclass or a schooling especially when he did the absolute bare minimum to win. it was an absolute garbage fight so not sure what you were watching. Had Fury actually engaged and won in the manner he did I would have no problem saying it was a schooling but sitting back and doing sightily more than a guy that literally looked like a mummy for 11 of 12 rounds isn't impressive it is a joke.
Yes. But why did Wlad look so bad? Why was was Wlad a "mummy" against Fury, but a livewire against Joshua? Do you think there might be a reason? Perhaps a reason based in skill and defense? You act like Wlad just felt like losing, rather than Fury actively using feints and movements to shut Wlad down.
Doing the bare minimum to win a fight is not superlative. Fury won. That is about all you can say. If you want to be delusional and attach all these adjectives to it be my guest but it won't change what happened. Fury has been passed by Joshua and isn't even a factor until he can lose 100 pounds and get a boxing license. You think they will put masterclass on his license when he gets it back? Or maybe schooling? That would be awesome wouldn't it?
Yup. Styles make fights. Joshua's power and aggression would make it difficult for Fury to out box him. It is obviously possible though.
