It's not cool to make fun of kicking taxies. It's a disease, just like any other. And studies show that there is a strong genetic component to it. I had an uncle who was a taxi kicker. Back in the day, we wouldn't talk about it. We had to hide him in the shadows. I am hoping that Fury can end that stigma for good so that men like my uncle can come out of the shadows and say, "I will never not be a taxi-kicker...it is something that is always going to be with me...but with the stigma ended, I can proudly be a taxi-kicker in recovery...and benefit to the society that I live in."
Some people can casually kick a taxi and then go on about their day. But others, it never stops with one. One taxi turns into a row of taxis and next thing you know they’re at the airport kicking every taxi in line. They wake up the next day with no memory of it and a sore foot.
I can say no to kicking taxi's entirely. But when I get rolling, there is no one or two, but every yellow cab in the city is going to wind up with a footprint on the fender.
