All top 10 dudes. A lot better than Chisora 3, Schwartz, Seferi, taking MMA fighter on a debut before you're retired, Wallin, wouldn't you say? Replace seferi schwarz and wallin with those 3 names. Suddenly becomes much more depth and serious.
Takam was never top 10, the matchroom fans have fooled you. There are like a dozen guys who were better than Miller, not to say Fury wasn't avoiding the crop.
The AJ fight could have happened after AJ beat Wlad. It didn't because Fury supposedly went mental. And to assume Fury would have beaten AJ or gone undefeated in those matches is debatable. Bottom line, Fury chose his path and is now on the outside looking in. If he never fights again, he will be pretty much forgotten and will only be a side note in boxing historians books.
Yes, Wlad was old, but he was the heavyweight champion. Other contenders could not take that away from him, but Fury pulled off the upset. You don´t get to take that away from him so nonchalantly.
Wlad looked just as terrible his previous fight. The fury-wlad fight was the worst title fight ever held. they both should have lost and the titles become vacant.
And yet it was Fury who got it done when other could not. He beat the man who was the legitimate champion of the division. And at the bookies it was an upset. It´s not Fury´s fault that the rest of the division failed to topple Wlad, nor is it his fault that Wlad was as old as he was.
It is his fault he put on a terrible effort though. They should have dq'd both for refusing to engage.
Fury? Bro, at the time everyone was talking about how the only way to beat Wlad(and his cheating bear tactics) was to KO him. Most of his opponents aimed for that one big shot. Fury fought a fight nobody expected, and he earned a clear win that night. You are trying to spin this into a story where beating Wlad is completely meaningless, and you are wrong for doing so. Yes, he was an ageing champion, but he was still the champion.
the whole fight was fury standing out of range making faces and sticking his tongue out. not spinning anything, telling the truth as opposed to the brit spin.
