This is a very intelligent comment. Fully agreed.

I think Fury slaps because hes always worried about whats coming back and is a defense first fighter even against lower opp he rarely plants his feet. With his weight and height he would definetly have way more power if he delivered it correctly.

Completely agree that he needs to change his gameplan for Wilder - the same one wont work twice, he will get ironed out.

I think one of the reasons he didnt rematch Wlad is because he knew it wouldnt work twice. His awkwardness and defensive skill threw Wlad and Wilder off for 1 night but chances are it wouldnt happen twice.

Im still skeptical whether the rematch goes ahead...but i favour Wilder in it if it does.

This, Wilder dropped him twice late in the first fight and probably can read him now.

Fury is superbly unorthodox more than technically superb. He doesn't move or fight like a HW .

But his defensive ability has most definitely declined since the Wlad fight. Wilder kd'd him twice and Wallin (barely in the top 50) landed several big shots. He moves back in straight lines now and isn't that hard to tag.

I can't explain his lack of power. Looks like his punching technique is fine. But even when putting all his power into punches against Wallin (cos he though the fight could be stopped due to the cut) he barely dented the unheralded Swede.

Although if its a display of the technical brilliance of Fury - here you are

No Fury would have boxed Povetkin`s ears off.

Another very intelligent comment. Fury is simply unpredictable, unorthodox... to quote Fury himself "Even I don't know what I am going to do in the ring"

    He literally just wings it.

Problem is he wasn't very good against neither Wlad nor Wilder. He barely threw any punches and produced two terrible stinker fights.

Fury doesn`t punch hard because of his narrow stance which allows him to move quicker on his feet.

He dominated Wilder in the 10th and pushed him back after the knockdown in the 12th after shaking Wilder with a hook.

Tyson is very skilled but nothing special. What makes him so effective is having those skills with the agility he has at 6`9 so hes a difficult match up for anyone. If he were 6`4 or less he would be a fringe HW if that. With his mental issues he might be out of the sport all together.

Fury can't even "box wallin ears off" give it a rest mate unless by "boxing his ears off" you mean Fury's signature "land 3 more jabs over 12 rounds" method. In which case, maybe.

He doesn't punch hard because he can't.

    He has no power, none.

He destroyed Wallin and won 10 of the 12 rounds despite having a grotesque double cut above the eye which was pouring out blood from round 3. There was no doubt his vision was badly affected so he effectively beat him 10-2 with 50% vision. He was constantly squinting and pawing at his eye and was smart enough to switch stance to keep Wallin on his good side. Excellent performance under duress.

Duhaupas dominated Wilder for three rounds. It's just how terrible Wilder is. Any top 25 fighter can be competitive with him and win random rounds against him.

You make it sound like Wilder never lost a single round. The opposite is the truth.
