    OP is a hater.

Just a few months ago many people on this forum were claiming that Fury was going to duck 5th ranked Whyte, just 6 months after he had pasted 3rd ranked Wilder in the trilogy. Whyte couldn't land a single clean headshot in 6 rounds that wasn't a rabbit punch, got completely destroyed. And now you want to sweep it under the rug like it's a meaningless win just because Fury totally outclassed him. Absolutely pathetic.

All of the "top 10" are tied up right now or are otherwise unavailable. If Fury wants an easy activity and money defence against Chisora toward the end of the year before taking on the Usyk-AJ 2 winner that's perfectly fine.

He should call out the winner of Usyk-Joshua 2 absolutely. Just like Ali called out Foreman.

    I'm not acknowledging his retirement.

Difference is, JCC fought more in 3 years than Fury has his entire career. Comparing Fury's accomplishments to JCC's? Think long and hard before you reply. Do some research if you're not sure.

About two years ago (I don't remember exactly when) I watched an interview with Tyson Fury where he declared: "Chisora will get a third chance."

I don't see the point of such a fight in a sporting sense.
Such a fight can only make sense if Chisora wins :)

Tyson has been saying for ages he will fight DC. I don't think you have a clue how close they are as friends.

Fury seems to have given up his passion for boxing. I'm starting to doubt that we'll ever see him in with Usyk or AJ. GOAT ...

That's what I was going to say.
JCC had fought and beaten quite a number of (prime) Hall of Famers, and had been the legit P4P #1 for quite some time, in a very strong era.
The guy had almost triple the number of fights and was in his 40's during his retirement tour.
Quite the difference from having a past it Wlad and Wilder on your resume.

This fight can't happen and Fury keep his belt, so it won't happen outside of an exhibition match. Will the WBC allow him to engage in an exhibition against Chisora and keep the belt...Seems unlikely how Mauricio has been talking

    Chisora is #18 WBC
    Kabayel is #15 WBC

Voluntary defences need to be within the top 15 of the rankings.

Kabayel is also Top Rank so I think that is the obvious choice at this time if he wants a warm up fight.

Watch, if AJ wins he will want to fight him right away since you wont risk that much money with a tune up.
If Usyk wins, he will duck him to age him out or till he looks vulmerable enough to beat, since the guy is a mover and 35 years old.

I got the schwarz, wallin type fights before Wilder 2 because he needed to get back in better shape and e en those were very soft touches which almost went wrong.
But at this point he isnt active enough to look for and justify soft fights when undisputed is on the table.

He needs to man up, be ringside during that fight and call out the winner afterwards for a fight in december.

Because it’s 0 danger to Fury and a household name in the UK.

I agree, it’s not PPV worthy but we know it will be a PPV. There’s 0 chance of him taking a high risk fight in the interim so the likes of Sanchez and Joe Joyce aren’t realistic.

How is fighting Chisora going to help him prepare for Usyk or Joshua? He may as well just stick to sparring.

People say "it's keeping him active". He can remain active by training and sparring.

Fury vs Chisora 3 is just a sparring match at best.

I wouldn't expect him to fight a proper top 10 opponent, but if he has any hopes of defeating Usyk or Joshua, he should be able to defeat someone like Sanchez or Hunter.

Fury wants an opponent for november/December and the excuses that everyone is tied up doesn't wash. Usyk/Joshua, Hrgovic/Zhang and Ortiz/Ruiz all fight within the next few weeks giving them more than enough time to recover and to be prepared come late November or December. I'm convinced Furys only fight this year will be an exhibition anyway. Can't justify Chisora though. People were screaming for him to retire recently and saying how wrong it would be for him to fight Wilder, yet Fury is OK.
