Those come about from an illegal move as well,never see any refs call it but I'm sure dipping below the waistline and coming up is illegal?Ward had the tools to box beautiful but he worked put in big fights he could win by wrestling,fouling and stinking the place out.

 

I have nothing against flickers jabs personnaly i think its should be allowed most of them do t fully labd with the back of the hand its just the movements start at the waist and goes from inside to the outside no problem with that

 

That is exactly my opinion of Ward and as far as I'm concerned we're all better off for him having retired. Now if we could keep his ass out of the commentator seats we'd be in business.

Fury, Wilder, Joshua and Whyte all bend the rules for their liking. The only clean top fighters are Povetkin, Ortiz and Jarrell Miller.

 

Listen Tyson used to be guilty of this but it’s not so bad now that it can be described as “illegal”. As others mentioned he’s been warned about it before against Chisora. If Fury’s gonna get docked points for that then surely to **** clinching and holding needs to be dealt with first.

Backhand is an exaggeration. Max Baer threw backhands, like proper solid forearm punches swung outward K-1 style. What Fury does is a minor infraction of the rules, but nothing that warrants an entire thread for. Very few top level fighters are one hundred percent clean.

Ironically Povetkin probably is one of the "cleanest" HWs at top level right now. I can't recall him ever excessively clinching or rabbit punching or leading with the head or hitting low. There was some dirty stuff in the Huck fight, but well, it's Huck.

 

I find it funny that nearly every top boxer bends the rules, if not outright cheats. Yet people think these same people would take some principled stand and refuse to take PEDs, and it was only from meat tainted with SARMs
