Personally, I dont think he has enough power to keep a young, hungry, powerful heavyweight off him i.e Joshua, Parker. Even Haye (although he isnt young)

Credit to him for outboxing (a possibly gun shy) Wlad. But can anyone see him doing the same to a younger heavyweight who isnt afraid to let his hands go?

Fury would have a field day with the likes of Joshua.

Had Wlad been more aggressive, he may have been made to look even more clumsy.

Fury makes good use of his abilities.

You do not need one punch KO power to win fights.

Agreed, you dont need one punch KO power to win, but I think if his opponents are not scared of whats coming back they will walk him down eventually. Also Fury's defensive game has been massively exaggerated since the Wlad fight, he isnt as elusive as a Whittaker or Mayweather, as people are making out.

It wouldn't really surprise me if he knocked Haye and Joshua out to be honest. I think he has surprising power when he needs it. Don't know too much about Parker really.

Heavy Weight boxing is a different animal. Anyone in that division who catches anyone else clean is getting a knockout.

Whilst Tyson doesn't really sit down on his punches and isn't known as a KO artist he still has plenty of power to dissuade anyone from trying a Shawn Porter approach against Paulie.

Yeah, Tyson is more accumulative rather than one punch, but it'll still dissuade

he has enough to keep his opponents honest, but he's not a big puncher

id say any heavyweight who catches another heavy clean is going to hurt them. if you can draw them in and hit them on the chin its more than likely game over

certainly has the mass to be a heavy puncher, but he lacks the skill to deliver it consistently.

    Absolutely.

Fury consistenty tears the faces of opponents to shreds with his 'lack of power' look at the mess Wlad and Chisora's faces looked at the end of their recent fights vs Fury (I think Fury actually broke Chisora's orbital) ... Hammer retired after 8.

Fury doesn't look like hits hard but he hits more than hard enough to stop opponents throwing shots altogether for fear of being countered it seems.

I've always said Haye would beat him and I think Joshua could too. Joseph Parker wouldn't get anywhere near him.

Fury should avoid Luis Ortiz imo that kid is a real problem in the HW division.

I wouldn't call a 37 year old a kid, even if he has only been a professional for 6 of those years. I agree though, Ortiz is going to be a difficult out for any HW. I remember Fury saying on an IFLTV interview 18-24 months ago, before many really knew who Ortiz was, that there's a big Cuban southpaw out there called Ortiz whose an absolute beast, a true high risk/low reward type of fight.

How would Haye walk down a fighter who is 6 inches taller with a huge reach advantage? How would Joshua win the battle of the jabs to get inside that reach? I take your point about Fury's power and the blueprint needed to beat him but just can't see those two being able to execute it, although AJ has got time to improve. As for Parker... who's he fought? Let's see him up against a top 10 rated fighter before getting carried away.
