https://www.boxingnews24.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/wilder-tyson-fury-21.jpg Here's a picture of him standing toe to toe with 6'7 Wilder. He's about 6'7½ or 6'7¾ at most in this photo. He is clearly not 6'9. Does anybody have evidence to back up the claim that he's 6'9 ? Im genuinely curious. Im a man that follows the evidence, no bias behind this whatsoever. from what i can tell Fury isn't 6'9 but tons claim he is. Regardless he is a giant of a man ans is easily over 6'7 What do you think his height is ?
How many of these threads need to happen before everyone figures out the easiest thing to do is just take 1 inch off of everyone's listed height and move on
He's tall. He's really tall. If he was at you house and you needed someone to reach something up high, he'd be the best person to ask. Geez. 6'8 6'9...he's a damned giant. Oh he's onlhy 6'6...he's still a damned giant! You people be acting like girls deciding weather to swipe left because a man might be slightly under 6' tall.
Fury’s height has always been 6’7”. Here is a piece on Fury from 2009. “Dave Oakes takes a look at Tyson Fury, the 6'7" 250 pound heavyweight from Manchester.” “Tyson Fury sounds more like a name a Rocky villain would have rather than a genuine boxer, but this new kid on the block is certainly one to keep an eye out for. At a towering 6ft 7ins, the Manchester based heavyweight is certainly attracting a lot of attention on this side of the pond. He’s a giant of a man, has a Hollywood name and is unbeaten in the paid ranks, with all five victories coming inside the distance. It’s no surprise people are sitting up and taking notice of him. Mick Hennessy, Fury’s promoter, has been cranking the hype machine up to full speed in his effort to make him well known, but the question remains, can he actually fight?” https://theboxingbulletin.blogspot.com/2009/05/introducing-tyson-fury-story-photo.html?m=1 Wilder on the other hand is slightly under 6’6” at around 6’5.5”.
If Dychko is 6'9 than there is no way Fury is the same height https://ringside24.com/media/post/193025583_120673786836178_911442619688328427_n.jpg
Fury is bending down so not an accurate gage. Dychko real height is about 6'8 or 6'8 and a half at most so he's still taller than Fury. You can look on Dychkos Instagram and see him compared to other tall fighters
I'm gonna go with 6,8 possibly even almost 6,9 in the sports game its pretty common for everyone to get an extra inch .
Braun Strowman is 6’8 and when Tyson Fury stood next to him you could see Fury was clearly taller which means Fury is 6’9
You should have made a thread about the height of boxers (celebrities) in general. I've met Oleksander Gvozdyk or example, who is listed as 188 cm. I'm 181,5 cm in the morning and 180,5 cm in the evening (measured by doctors during military conscription). He was 2 cm taller at the most, not 6,5 cm. I've also met Mairis Briedis. He is listed as 186 cm. He was exactly the same height as me. And I don't wear shoes with thick soles, as I find them uncomfortable. So yes, celebrities exaggerate their heights.
Only boxer I met in person was kovalev in Vegas before the 1st ward fight, I'm 6ft and kovalev looked a touch smaller than me - not by much now but def. Didn't seem 6ft,
