Funny, because after the Wallin fight, his camp said he was OVERtrained. Excuses changing by the minute, lol.

 Excuses for Fury but nothing but the highest of standards for Joshua, typical.

I highly rate Fury and Joshua but understand what you are trying to say

Fury fought Klitschko then had around 3 years before facing another top 10 rated fighter (Wilder), then had a couple of filler fights before facing another top 10 rated fighter (Wilder 2), then another gap of over a year and a half before facing another top 10 rated fighter (Wilder 3). He did fight Whyte after that who was a top 10 rated HW but then had a couple of filler fights and over 2 years before facing another top 10 rated fighter (Usyk)

Joshua fought top 10 rated Martin has a couple of fillers and fought Klitschko in a unification, less than a year later fought another top 10 rated fighter in a unification (Parker), fought top 10 rated Povetkin after, was supposed to fight top 10 rated Miller after but had the Ruiz fight. Lost that fight but rematched immediately, then defended against top 10 rated Pulev then fought Usyk after

I think if facing top competition consistently it is tougher to stay at the top and harder to stay undefeated if more active

In the time from winning their first world title
Fury November 2015 and Joshua April 2016

Fury is 5-1-1 in world title fights
    Joshua 9-0-4 in world ti
    tle fights

There often does seem double standards and it is however anyone wants to spin it

In the time from winning their first world title
Fury November 2015 and Joshua April 2016

Fury is 5-1-1 in world title fights
Joshua 9-0-4 in world title fights

    Unifications
    Fury 0-0-1
    Joshua 2-0-0

Including winning the title to date -
I think Fury has had 6 fights against top 10 rated competition in the nearly 9 years (3 against same opponent)
I think Joshua has had 10 fights against top 10 rated competition in the around 8 and a half years

    That may be incorrect

Those losses are the difference between their respective careers. Everybody knows that except for you.

Losses certainly do come up in career perspectives but do you agree that losses are more likely to happen if fighting more frequently or higher rated competition more often?
I think anyone could genuinely make a convincing argument for rating Fury or Joshua above or below the other but I think since winning his first world title fight nearly 9 years ago, that Fury has only had 6 fights against Ring top 10 rated opposition

I would guess that if a fighter was facing one top 10 rated contender a year or even more frequently that there would be a greater chance of losing

Pulling off a win vs an MMA fighter doesn't make you a great fighter lol.

Fury really lost to McDermott the decision was considered so bad they changed the rules on how British title fights were scored.

Fury was befuddled and out landed in power punches by a novice in Ngannou and really should've lost that fight aswell.

Fury's just been fortunate that he's been gifted some controversial decisions in reality he should've have 2 or 3 losses on his record already.

Joshua has had some bad losses but he's never struggled vs an MMA fighter and got a gift decision vs British level fighter in McDermott.

Neither Joshua or Fury are great fighters as it stands today unless they have a major turn around in their careers.

And one of them challenged himself, the other not so much. That is why Joshua has 4 losses and Fury just 1, for now.
FFS, the man barely beat Wallin and Ngannou.

In a general sense that makes perfect sense. But the Ruiz loss in particular, can't be explained away as anything other than a terrible performance against a guy chosen to showcase Joshua to the US market.

Joshua has not even had a decent win against any serious opponent. Washed up Wlad, Ruiz rattled him, a double battering against Usyk and a demolition job by Dubois to finish it off. The lad has only beaten plumbers and cab drivers, and everyone knows it.

Furys resume- while paper thin at least has a better Wlad, He took on Wilder (contrary to AJ ducking Wilder), taking Wilder”s soul in the process. Joshua would not last 6 rounds against the windmill throwing Bombs. Fury was competitive in the first 6 rounds against Fury-i still give him a 20 percent chance for the rematch.

Both have major weakness in their resumes.
AJ's has always been the most over-rated resume in boxing.
