Where would you all place him on your all time list of British heavies? I would have him as Silver Medalist behind Lennox Lewis' Gold.
Yep Lewis at his best beats him . If fury comes in not fully focused Bruno sparks him out . didto mason and Bugner give him hell if he isn't at his best.
The fact that Usyk struggled way more with small cruisers than he did with mega huge heavies throws an immense amount of doubt over the whole era. How in the hell does Mairis Briedis at 6'1 out preform by far the biggest and best heavyweights of the modern day era? These guys couldn't do better than Mairis Briedis??? Unless they're just not as good as we all thought. Thats the only answer.
1. Lewis 2. Joshua 3. Fury 4. Dubois 5. Bugner 6. Bruno 7. Cooper I will reevaluate some of these later. #2 and #3 could be swapped. Dubois needs to legitimately win the title.
Lewis with Fury a very close second (especially when they were both fully focused). I get sick and tired of hearing about the good old days, in every single era certain fans/writers talk about that period's fighters being the worst of all time. I remember it in the '90s when people were calling Lennox and Holy pathetic, talentless bums. Of all sport seeing the past through rose-tinted glasses (especially the heavyweights) is by far the most prevelant in boxing.
