Tyson Fury was asked by IFL TV who he thought were the top 5 Heavyweight Champions. Fury said his list is in no particular order....
    Joe Louis...
    Rocky Marciano...
    Muhammad Ali...
    Larry Holmes...
    Lennox Lewis...

Not a bad list. Would replace Larry w Foreman or Liston though but that’s me.

Swap Marciano out for Foreman, and mess with the order and you have my own list. Good effort from Mr. Fury IMO. Certainly much better than Joshua's.

If it weren't for Fury, I would have absolutely NO, as in "0" interest in the modern heavyweight scene...and sadly, that admission comes from a 50+ year boxing fan, and btw, admittedly, the heavies have never been my favorite weight class. Never before, in my estimation, has the heavyweight division been so dreadfully mediocre. I wish for Tyson Fury that he absolutely decimates the rest of the division, player by player, until the emergence on the horizon of some legitimate contender who will spark the restoration of a once great division in a once great sport.

I agree with that top five. Not necessarily in that order but I realize he wasn’t numbering them

I have a doubt about Lewis. One could reasonably rank him just outside the Top 5
