Are there any recent updates for Tyson Furys hearing with UKAD for testing positive for nandrolome a few months before his fight with wlad?

The hearing started yesterday and is on for the next two days. But seems to have been pushed under the rug

Hopefully we'll get a final decision soon, this has been dragged on for far too long. But then it seems nothing is straight forward when dealing with the Fury's.

Should we expect a ban of 6 months or so? It won't be a big deal, since he's off doing his "recovery" thing anyways... I wonder what the over/under on how many fights that dude will ever have again is at.

Wouldn't surprise me if he came back when he's like 35, spouting off about how we need to, "Remember who the real champ is!," only to promptly find he's lost all the flight in his feet and makes an easy target.

He's reminding me of Briggs at this point on his twitter.
"Don't forget! I'm the real champ!"
    "I'm the champ!"
    "I"m the real champ!"

Honestly though, I'm thinking he wants Hughie to take the reins. It sounds like Hughie desperately wants it, and Tyson might not want to get in the way of Peter training his son.

Hughie doesn't seem to have Tyson's skills though. Maybe Hughie will get blown out by Parker, and Tyson will come avenge him.

A ban, no matter how small will have repercussions for his only active championship to date (the Ring one), by then automatically violating 2 championship rules and his win over the Christian Hammer. And it might even cause him to lose his claim over ever having been champion if they also declare the Wlad win a NC because of that.

All this could have been avoided if UKAD was in any way competent though.

They will announce the decision after the hearing, they will not say anything prior that is how they work.

Do people know if his cocaine use and the refusing of a test are dealt with in the same hearing, or do we get another separate one for that?!

I think the test refusal will be dealt with in this hearing, but I do not know about positive coke test.

I reckon he is already serving a silent ban that is unbeknownst to the public.

That's what I'm fearing as well. And that would be such a low thing to do because other careers were depending on his availability to fight, and the alphabet organizations and Ring can't give a fair ruling that way either.
Also his public persona is depending on that information. Now many still see him as the "real champ", while he might actually be suspended.

It happens in all sports, where the official record is that the athlete in question is injured but really is serving a ban for someone, usually drug related.

It's in everyone's interest within the business to keep it private due to sponsors and the sport's image.

Lets not forget this information wasn't even to be published by UKAD, it was a British tabloid that leaked it.

    What's the difference ?
If he's suspended or not that shouldn't have any bearing on whether you see him as the "real champ" or not.

Previous reports suggested Hughie Fury tested positive for the exact same substance at the same time, so not sure what's happening there.
