On fight night he never looks great. ....in between fights he gets obese. Does this sound like someone who's really serious or playing at it? Wilder and Joshua both are always in top condition and this shows me when somebody is serious and has real drive and ambition. Physique alone doesn't tell the whole story but can be an indication.........

not really with fury, his stamina is one of his main strengths, for a man his size its quiet remarkable

look at Wlad and Price both big and cut to pieces but had huge stamina problems

i feel joshua will have stamina problems and that wilder will prove not to be sturdy enough for heavyweight

Ricky Hatton took it really seriously and he ballooned, but then it clearly contributed to a short career span.

I like Tyson, hes a very interesting chap with lots of heart, belief, physical attributes and some skill but as far as im concerned the jury is still out for me on just how serious he takes it all.

Gotta say his last fight i thought was his best performance and it looked like he was alot more focussed on a game plan rather than forgetting everything in the 1st 30 seconds of round 1 and just going for a fight. His physique i think has improved too, its not great but its better than it was. But the jury is still out.

Compare Frank Bruno and Larry Holmes.

This will be the equivalent Joshua and Fury...

Fury has proven he can fight a hard and fast paced 12 rounds. He has a big big engine.

In a division like heavyweight where there is no max weight limit, you don't really need to look like a participant in a bodybuilding contest - looks are more about marketing the fighter than about fighting itself.

He should have a top level fight to have a better opinion about him. Povetkin, Pulev, Charr or Takam could be good candidates. Also a long and bulky boxer like Mariusz Wach could disclose some of his weaknesses.
