He's in shape, so?. That's good news to know he's healthy and staying fit, don't expect him to return.
I don't think anyone wants him to return, or genuinely thinks he will. Most of us are just glad he seems to be doing a lot better.
Tyson has nothing to prove. He established his beastly 80's legacy. He is the king of knockout highlights. No need for him to put his brain on the line anymore.
Good. I know Tyson is wise enough now not to risk his health with boxing anymore. There are a lot of other things he can pursue now.
His body yea. No argument from me. However when you look at his face he looks a bit mallnureshed or gaunt.
Its a strange thing watching Tyson age. I certainly prefer him as a guy now (no homo), I like hearing his interviews- he always seems to have interesting things to say
Mike is awesome. I've met him in person a few times. The first time I was little and he had an ice cream truck come and got us all ice cream and took pictures at Central Boxing Club in phx az. It was Madison Square Garden at the time but the real MSG filed a lawsuit and they had to change the name. The second time I met Mike my trainer was talking to him and called me over.. Mike actually held his hand out to shake my hand and said "Nice to meet you". The 3rd time I saw him he bumped into me at walmart. I think he saw I was wearing a boxing shirt.I've met tua too. Both look much smaller in person than in the ring. I guess everybody looks bigger in the ring, plus they are warmed up and pissed off. Tua trained at my gym for a while and my trainer got pissed because he kept popping the speed bags. I also met casamayor there, benavidez, lyakhovich, kenny weldon and jirov. Casamayor pulled a prank on me and taught me the wrong stance when I was newer.. My trainer ended up kicking him out of the gym. But he also autographed a photo for me and told me to watch the fight he was training for and he ended up winning by KO. he has a very interesting training style. sometimes he just sits in the corner of the ring with a huge blanket covering him for 15 minutes at a time. Maybe something he learned in Cuba? a makeshift sweat room for cutting weight? When he hit the bag he usually did it pretty slowly and not too intense.
