Anyone know the details of Valero's psychological/neurological state? My memory is a little hazy but remember something about head injuries as a result of a motorcycle accident which prevented him from being licensed to fight in the U.S, head trauma can cause psychological disturbances. Food for thought?

Suicide? I though he was in prison for murder or some **** like that. I seen Valero and his record was padded. Once I seen him fight, he's not even on the same planet as Floyd and even Pac defeats him.

Valero would not have been successful had he moved up to 140

Nah, he killed his wife and then commit suicide in jail. He was mentally ****ed up though, he was clearly insane and needed help but that shouldn't affect his portrayal as a boxer.

He wasnt wearing a helmet & suffered a brain injury.

He couldnt get a license in the US & fought in Japan & South America until they gave him the OK in Texas.

He would barely have hit Mayweather, never mind beaten him.
Marquez would have taken him to school too.
He reminded me a bit of Pac, with less quickness.

edwin realy was amazing. he wasnt just an ko artist, he began to be a real boxer, with movemant, defence, ring generalship.

I wouldve favourite him over bradley, marquez or rios.

Not vs mayweather & pacquiao, but he would have poses challenges to both.
pacquiao sometimes punches a lot, without properly thinking about defence and had he took a good counter punch from valero, wonder what would have happened. and if valero had presses the action early enough and won the first few rounds and some later, why not a UD in favor of valero....

damn, he wouldve been a great boxer in his prime.

He won every fight by knockout. I think he would have easily beat Floyd or Manny.
