    Don King, is that you? What the **** is up with this ****. Human error happens in boxing. as long as it isn't horrible (i.e. a 10 count becoming a 18 count) nobody should complain.

  5. Don King formally challenged this to the Alphabet orgs and the Japanese commission.. The appeal was denied.

    The debate ended 20 years ago.

    Yes, that's it.

    Its a matter of if the fighter is struggling to get to his feet to beat the count, or as Douglas did, intentionally listening to the count and staying down, on purpose, til he HAD to get up.

    Nothing wrong with this scenario. Douglas was not KOed.

    Douglas was ready to continue the moment he hit the canvas.
    Ali was lucky to get floored at the end of the round.
    Everything else is speculations.

    It would have been a wake up call and he would have trained appropriately for Holyfield. Douglas was a routine stay busy defense that they couldn't sell in America.

    If they fought in 1990 Tyson would have beaten Holyfield. Maybe Bowe would have been the better challenge. Evander wasn't ready for Mike at that point. It would have been too early in his career to fight Tyson.

    As for the OP;

    I should add that Tyson was down for just about 13 seconds.
