Can Max get the job done against a lesser version of Tyson?

Going with this scenario ,the faded Tyson stops the faded Baer in 3.

    Would have been entertaining.

But Max would have beaten Tyson likely by UD.

This is of course not base in the (injured) Max of the Louis fight, Max had a bad right hand and re broke it in the second round vs Louis. That injury alone made him a one handed fighter in that fight.

But hypothetically without that injury, then Baer beats Tyson, I also thinks he give Louis all he can handle and possibly wins instead of losing to him.

Finally! A realistic Max Baer/Mike Tyson thread! But I still lean towards Tyson as Tyson managed to survive 8 rounds against the inerrant accuracy of power puncher Lennox Lewis. No way Max would be throwing shots that crisp and accurate. Now, if Tyson wasn't as durable, then it may be another story and even vs that diminished version of Tyson, Lewis still had enough sense to stay out of the way and box from a distance.

Injured Baer and shot Tyson. I'm going with Baer because he still has the physical advantages and fitness to take a decision, Tyson has to do far more work to win this and was in very bad condition.

Baer wasn't really faded, just injured. He would still go on to be a force in the division, just less consistent depending on how his hands felt on a given night.

Tyson was totally shot in this fight and overweight. About all he could do was take a beating.

Tyson by a brutal first round ko. Max Baer's body was too fragile compared to Tyson's who looked like a powerlifter against Lewis.
Big difference Baer fought a 198 lbs Louis and the Tyson version Lennox was nearly 250 pounds muscular fighter.
    Very different times and situations..
