Tyson loses it on Canadian TV interview

Neither was Hitler, was he?

For the sake of the argument, let's just say if we rate people between -100% (Hitler) and +100 (Dalai Lama), IMO Mike Tyson scores somewhere around -20% on the scale of humanity, considering his documented drug abuse, aggravated assault and **** convictions.

That doesn't make him exactly a serial killer but he's scum enough that you wouldn't want to invite him to your Sunday BBQ if someone showed you his CV without his name on.

I wonder if NFL fans have the same kind of irrationally benevolent relationship with OJ as boxing fans have with Tyson.

 

This maybe a slight digression from lefts to the liver, but what's the Dalai Lama done to earn a +100?

Mike Tyson can come back to boxing and if promoted right ,could make 10+ mil fighting anyone on this board or any name.

I must be honest mate, I was disappointed. I totally understand his anger don't get me wrong, but I had grown to appreciated docile Mike.
He seemed to be getting the better of his dark half and it was good to see a guy that was so screwed up actually making progress and being accepted by society again. He seemed happy, for the first time in a long time.
This episode has sort of taken him back a few steps again in my mind, especially since it was on live TV.

I think he was justified in what he did, but maybe he should have just walked off set or something. It'll only give his detractors ammo to say "See? The guy was always a piece of ****. Look."

 

That's exactly how I see it. I see it more about Tysons progression than any embarrassment caused, hopefully it's not a step back but the guy is only human and is going to have off days. He just doesn't deal with it in a professional manner, but then again don't we appreciate him for being real?

I think he should have let it go after the first outburst personally, continuing it made him look like he couldn't keep his emotions in check. I don't think the nice guy thing is an act, Tyson doesn't act he is actually a decent guy and many seem to back this up, he just has that anger in him still and was unable to rise above this stupid interviewer, so that's a bit disappointing.

 

I, remember mike on barbara walters show many years ago. Why, did he not explode then? stop defending this guy against the brutal truth fools!!

 

Mike dressed pretty hip there, I must say.
