This won’t be a boxing match, it’ll be a dog fight. I just don’t see Fury allowing Uysk to get comfortable and find his rhythm. Uysk might win the first few rounds, he may even hurt Fury badly, but eventually the 3 stone lighter man will be ground down.

Usyk should win comfortably. Fury is looking older than his age (lifestyle catching up), he is flabby and slow and he isn’t the boxer he was when Wallin gave him problems. Fury can only win by imposing his size and making it an ugly fight, I think Usyk will be too slippery to allow that to happen. Fury wins with his size and by being a better boxer, he isn’t the better boxer here.

I think Usyk will win easily, but how do you figure he’s going to hurt Fury badly? That’s almost the last thing I can imagine happening in this fight.

I think Uysk winning easily is the least likely outcome. He has a higher chance of winning by stoppage. Fury has good recovery but his chin isn’t infallible. Uysk will 100% try to land a big shot early to get his respect, I have no doubt about that whatsoever. I think at least early on Uysk will land some heavy counters before the attrition sets in.

    A. It had better not be in Saudi Arabia..

UK or US please because I'm selfish

    B.I like Usyk a lot.

    C. Fury on points because he is just as good a boxer as Usyk but in addition has too many physical advantages. And I only mean UD for Fury because there is now way he lands enough leather to stop granite chinned Usyk.

7-5 variety UD for Fury. No blowout here

If Wilder can’t put him down with flush shots then Usyk isn’t going to do anything to him. Fury might have the best chin in boxing, I have no idea what you’re on about.

As I noted in another thread it comes down to whether or not Fury can maul / ragdoll Usyk enough and be dirty work the body to slow him down and take aways Usyks' incredible pace in rounds 10-12.

If Fury can do that without getting frustrated and getting points deducted etc, then he can win a decision.

I believe that Fury's standard of opposition in the last 5 years will mean that actually being in the ring with Usyk will be a real rude awakening, where he will struggle with the elite footwork, angles speed, feints & traps - being tagged with shots he doesn't see, and he will get steadily more frustrated and resort to dirtier and dirtier tactics, trying hard to turn it into a clinch fest. But I think Usyk is too slippery for that and will dictate the pace in the championship rounds to win a clear - but competitive decision.

The one thing that plays into Fury's favour here is that Uysk's style is not one that ages like a fine wine, so much depends on whether Usyk's body can still execute like he did against Joshua - and in the 2nd we did see a slip I think, though I think Joshua did raise his game in that fight and many did not see it because Usyk nullified it by raising his too.

Fury can win by either points or KO, Usyk only wins this fight by points IMO. In that case you have to favour Fury just because he has multiple avenues to victory here.

My personal take is that Fury will try and walk Usyk down, as he will not have the power to keep Fury honest and Fury's easiest path to victory is to be on top of Usyk from round 1. If Fury allows Usyk to get some rounds in the bank early, then it might cause him to get a little unstuck.

For me Fury stops him beween rounds 7-9, the size and ability of Fury will be too much for Usyk. At some point size does matter and you can't give up that much height and weight without paying for it eventually.

I agree with some of your points but I also think that this could be one of the most difficult opponents Fury has come across also, Fury's boxing skills are not even close to Usyks. Your point that Fury is prepared to take a punch to land a punch is fair enough but in reality its more like take a 3 or 4 punch combination before getting one off, and by then the target may well have already moved!!!!

With fair judges, then Usyk via a SD.

I just think his movement will tire Fury out.

6" 9" plus 19 stone is a lot to carry and chase with when you cannot catch your opponent clean. Usyk is no mug, he means business.

    Expect the immediate re-match though.

Let's hope it happens. I expect Fury to be outboxed and lose via decision. It should be a close match. Fury may lose a point due his fouling tactics which had already cost him five times in five separate fights! FIVE times.

Wilder DID put him down. 4 times. Fury’s powers of recovery are insane but his chin is certainly not the best in boxing. Best chins in boxing don’t get knocked down by Neven Pajkic and Steve Cunningham. Uysk isn’t a massive puncher but if he lands a big shot, especially a counter that Fury doesn’t see coming he could find himself on the canvas.
Uysk just won’t be able to keep him there.

I agree. Usyk is Furys toughest ever opponent. Klitchsko was over the hill and had a style which Fury was comfortable with. Usyk is closer to his prime and has a style which will cause Fury massive problems.

I still think Furys 50 lb natural weight advantage is what swings it in his favour but honestly this could go either way.
