Answer me this question - Who has to work harder:

    Fury pressing forward
Usyk moving away from Fury pressing forward - When Usyk is full defensive he also uses the worst kind of defence, the Amir Khan high guard ring circle which Fury can attack easily.

Cruiserweight Usyk who can keep his legs under him and MOVE for 12 rounds had a chance - But Usyk has never been a full time mover anyway. He's probably more of a pressure fighter himself. He loves to put mental pressure on fighters, He can't do that against Fury.

Usyk will slow and Fury will slow mid fight but when that happens is when Fury takes over.

All these people saying Usyk can/will stop Fury, you are living in an alternate reality. If Wlad and Wilder couldn't do it, Usyk certainly won't.

Steady drops of water can break a rock but I doubt Usyk will land consistently on Fury's head. There's a 7 inch reach difference and Fury uses his left like a sword to keep opponents where he wants them. Usyk certainly is the better boxer but the size and experience of Fury are the most likely deciding factors.

Chisora gave Usyk his hardest fight in years by keeping the pressure on. What do you think Fury is going to do to him, with the same fight tactic?

PLUS you just know team Fury will insist in a small ring.

I don't see Fury running out of steam in this fight.

He wasn't in the best shape for the third Wilder fight but he still casually jogged away in victory in the 11th round.

Fury has too much natural stamina, he'll have a big weight advantage and he'll be in better condition for Usyk than he was in the third Wilder fight.

If anyone is going to run out of gas, it will be Usyk.

20 ft is standard. Usyk would want a 24ft but has no chance of getting it.

How Usyk & Fury use their leads early doors will be the most interesting part of the bout. If Usyk is such a crazy slick master baiter he must be able to overcome Fury's lead like he did AJ rather easily, Don't see him coming up and under a pawing Fury like he could AJ...nor do I see him dealing with Fury able to throw from the hip.

The only way this fight becomes hard is if it's tit for tat and Fury has to decide whether to ditch boxing for brawling...he has multiple ways to win but that can make it trickier. He only fully went after Wallin from round 6 onwards using his body movement to dip low and get close.

I like both guys but Fury is terrible matchup for Usyk Fury will massacre him with body shots mid range or inside he will hurt Usyk with body shots then finish him

Fury's has looked a bit vulnerable when exposed to some movement and counter ability and Usyk will bring that to an extent he hasn't beeen close to encountering before.

The plan of "use your size, make it physical and a bit dirty" sounds like a fine one on paper but Joyce and Joshua x 2 have shown that it's much more difficult to execute than it may seem.

Usyk by pts for me. Looking forward to it immensely.

Joyce lacked the speed and variety and was a 240 pounds amateur not current 270 pounds in 5 rounder
AJ lacked the chin stamina and balls
Fury just lacks the raw power they have...but it will still be plenty enough. The speed of Fury's shots will be more hurtful to Usyk.

"Come February or early March, this guy's getting taken to Cossack slick school. Guaranteed, 100%. I hope him and his trainer believe in magic, because he's going to need a lot of magic to beat Oleksandr Usyk. Tyson Fury, the whole of Morecambe Bay behind him couldn't beat me - together. Never mind him on his own, there's not a man 270lbs on the planet who can beat me. And I ain't coming here to play games or talk nonsense, and I'm here to fight. And I hope you're here to fight too. And you talk a good game, 'I'm from Manchester, I'm a tough guy, gangster', but let's have it real - I mean business, and I'm going to outbox you seriously early 2023. I hope you understand that, I hope your trainer understands that, I hope your wife understands that, I hope everybody understands it, because I mean business, I didn't come to the UK or Saudi to play rock em sock em robots with a big, stiff stalk-legged flabby shithouses. I came here to take useless dosser heavyweights to slick school.''

It's a hard fight to call. Much can happen with the TKO or either way via decision either way. A DQ win for Usyk is not out of the question either. Best guess is a slight favor Usyk. The is a real chance for theater of the unexpected.

This is exactly my prediction but with the names swapped.

It will baffle people what happened to Fury's speed and movement - he will look clumsy and slow. But the thing is, it's all about perception. Fury looks good in these departments:
    1) For his size
    2) When pitted against flat-footed plodders like Wilder or Whyte

It's only natural due to biomechanics. Usyk has shorter limbs, better body proportions, and a lower point of gravity. His speed, balance, mobility and pivoting are the best in the HW division by a country mile - nobody comes close, not even Fury, no matter what his fans think. Fury will look like Bambi on ice next to Usyk. Starting from the third Wilder fight, Fury's foot speed has noticeably declined. The old saying still holds true: the legs go first.

Funnily enough, Fury said a few days ago that Usyk had a lot of mileage on the clock, conveniently forgetting that Usyk, as a consummate professional, has always taken care of his body, trained and dieted to be in absolute peak physical form. Fury, on the other hand, ballooned up to some 400 lbs after the Klitschko fight, then lost some 130 lbs only to still carry around some 25-30 pounds of fat on his frame. Also, while Usyk has always been living clean, Fury has been drinking and doing drugs for most of his adult life. These things damage your body and despite Fury being 1.5 years younger, I have no doubt that his body and system are in a much worse shape.

In any case, Usyk will do what he does best: outmanoeuvre and outbox the bigger guy to win by a comfortable UD.

People confuse chin with stamina. Fury was knocked down by journeymen not known for their power such as Pajkic or Cunningham. Fury has an unbelievable ability to recover after getting knocked down, but his chin is nothing extraordinary - it's not bad, but not remarkable at all.

Usyk, on the other hand, has an iron chin. He was never even knocked down as a professional, despite fighting plenty of big punchers. In the tenth round of the second Joshua fight, he ate a huge right hand that normally puts people to sleep - he didn't go down and wasn't even particularly hurt or ruffled. He ended up comfortably winning the round. It's amusing to see so many people think Fury can knock him out when Fury struggled to finally knock a staggering, knackered Wilder out. Whyte has long had a suspect chin and Chisora, who is pushing forty, has nowhere near the same punch resistance he used to have either - so those two KO results absolutely do not give the impression that Fury has now suddenly turned into a KO artist. A not particularly strong puncher, knocking out the guy whom a much harder punching Joshua couldn't even knock down once in 24 rounds? Amusing thought.

Usyk does not have the reach to fight off Fury's iron jab

Very good points on Usyk’s iron chin

Usyk’s chin has been proven, as he has never been taken down in his professional career. as you said. (Vitali Klitschko had also never been taken down in his professional career; the Ukranian in them)

but he has never faced someone with the combination of speed and size that fury brings

it’s going to be a good fight, and I tend to say, a very competitive fight

but I’m still leaning towards Usyk to win on points….. he is an incredibly skilled and very durable fighter.
