The extra muscle around Wilders neck, traps and shoulders has definitely improved his punch resistance

Fury's being smart by smothering Wilder even though he's killing his punching space, that right hand comes outta nowhere just like this near the end of the round.

Really frustrating. Fury could've stopped him 10x over but he keeps smothering his work.

    Round 10

Wilder is getting carried into the ropes, and Fury is digging into the body. Wilder is throwing hard uppercuts downstairs and trying for a left hook coming up for air but spinning himself off balance. Fury clobbers him with a gavel punch and Wilder goes down with over a minute left. Mora lets him continue. Fury rips him with three stiff jabs and then slices at him with a roundhouse right across the jaw. Wilder holds, barley finding the strength to do so, looking absolutely slothlike and spent. Big uppercut by Fury, rocking Wilder's head back sharply. Wilder holds and manages to survive the round. Not just that, but ROCKS FURY with a big hacking combo at the bell!

    10-8 Fury

    96-90 Fury
