    Round 7
Berlanga lands a nice combo that momentarily stops the Coceres train. He also begins to land some hard jabs, but its a pretty close round
    10-9 Berlanga (close)
    69-64 Berlanga

Man, love fighters with strategies, and putting it all together, it's not only about monstrous power. Coceres gotta step it up, he's not getting a decision.

Berlanga trusts way too much his own power. And it seems he has good reasons to do it. But that's not very good when we talk about boxing... One day he will have a big nasty surprise if he continues like that.

This is the problem with big punchers without an extensive amateur career, they blast through opponents early on in their careers.

They don't get that experience they need, they don't work on things that need to be worked on because they rely so much on their power, defensive work is an after thought.

Berlanga is basically learning on the job and this is a good lesson for him and hopefully his team learn too, get him so better sparring, try and iron out some of these defensive wrinkles because as he goes up levels he will get touched and if he hasn't worked on all that boring stuff eventually he will be found out.

This is why there is no point trying to build up a guy with easy first round ko's. Fair play he stopped some guys that should have gone a bit longer but the kid has no idea how to build towards a stoppage against someone who has a bit of ring craft. Just load up on everything from the first bell and you will get found out one day..
