    Just got home. The Ajagba result was very obvious to anyone with any sense. Sanchez can fight but I'm not surprised he took the safe route in his most important fight of his career so far.

    My first look at Sánchez Faure in the pros was against Willie Jake "The Snake" Jr. in 2019, and even though he got a KO2 my remarks on the night were that he looked very forgettable and wouldn't ever be an elite HW (it was more to do with mid-30's southpaw never-was Jake already being shot to bits) ...so again, let's resist the urge to read too much into this result and have our logic be "He beat Ajagba, he must be great!" rather than "if he could outbox Ajagba that easily, this fourth-string Cuban team jabronie, then wow, the Nigerian puncher really does suck when put in with anyone unwilling to be a compliant victim.."
