Dubois is a nice guy and he hits super hard but he's very lucky he's with an excellent trainer like McGuigan.
Man the way those two white guy's from ESPN slobber over their Showman Tyson Fury is sickening, you can tell they're so happy a guy like them finally came onto to the scene, Just comment on the fight, there's no need to over talk for every brief second while trying to pump up Top rank & your network, HBO did it right without all the Ass kissing at least for the most part of their tenure.
Dubois got hurt went down , regained his senses and put it on Lerena. Bit of a dodgy ending but no grand conspiracy
We'll see if Fury's trademark lack of punching power is now a thing of the past. Will determine how easy a night Usyk is.
Looked to me like he threw 1 after the bell but the uppercut that landed on the bell bent him back over the ropes so the follow up missed then Foster jumped in and stopped it, should never have been a stoppage but DDD looked to have his feet back and would probably have stopped Lerena in the next round. Lerena should have put it on DDD in the second and he could have been walking out as a fake HW champion and probably a million+ payday in his next fight to sell his belt to AJ.
I agree with frampton, the post fight interview was confusing. Dubois says he's okay but Mcguigan interjects and says he's done his ligaments.....damage limitation?
I thought he just went for it, caught Dubois cold, surprised himself with the early success and didn't know what to do thereafter.
I've been a USC fan for 58 years and it sucked but Utah deserved it. The Trojans hit them hard early and then Utah dominated the rest of the way. Props to the Utes.
