I sort of got that impression when he didn't do the media. If he thought he was a good shout then he'd want to start building his profile for when he gets the belts.

Seems it was quite similar to Tua vs Lewis once the fight started. Whyte is just too limited to launch any attacks that put Fury under duress, and Fury wasn't making any silly mistakes to give him an opening.

Fury is one of those athletes whose lives can be in complete chaos or act erratically but still always be 100% switched on mentally once they get in the contest. He reminds me of Dennis Rodman in that way.

I never thought Whyte was worthy of a title fight and this fight proved that soundly.
Great performance by the Gypsy King. I'm not sure he broke a sweat. That uppercut was a perfect exclamation point on a really subtle performance. Bring on the winner of Joshua-Usyk!!

You mentioned me. Sorry not been able to watch the fight yet. I slept through it. I'll have to watch an upload on this one (hopefully in a few hours).

But I didn't pick Whyte to beat Fury, unless you are thinking I'm aydamn again.

Reading about the result, it sounds like half-dispointing performance from a Whyte fans perspective, half great performance from a Fury fans perspective, with Fury showing that he is a dominant champion.

So as a fan of both men, I'm admittedly disappointed for Whyte, but happy that Fury is proving himself as a champion.

Fair comment mate. ( Nice potential bar you have BTW)

Just stick with what you've been drinking this evening. As it's not too often for you drink to excess just hit the flashback.

I guarantee you'll regret it in the morning mind.

Yes, because AJ was hesitant and trying to counter punch, not committing to shots. That’s how Bellew had success against Usyk. Fury won’t be trying to counter punch, that makes it perfect for Usyk to show the difference in speed and boxing skills.

Wilder has come closer than anybody to beating Fury and Fury is still the only fighter to beat Wilder nobody else. Fury always says that Wilder is the second best fighter in the Heavyweight Division .

If he hit him again after that uppcut he might have killed him. Whyte was out on his feet. He did Whyte a huge favor.

Fury in post fight conference "I'm a legend in this game".. This guy is blowing so much smoke up his own ass. Both himself and Whyte looked shite.

That may well be so but nobody else has managed to beat him but Fury. Until somebody else is able to beat him then Fury’s ranking of Wilder could well be legit .
