I'm happy with the beers mate they've got decent power to get the job done.
Whyte was garbage tonight I thought he would at least make a go of it. Tyson was switched on and looked a lot better than the last Wilder fight. I've got to imagine he fancies being undisputed before retiring I think he's got it in him to do it.

You gotta say one thing, Fury has a ridiculously complete skillset now that he employs really well. Sugar Hill has really brought the best out of him.

You finally see him for what he is, absolute ****ing ****. I commend that. Wilder would also smoke his ass, let's face it.

He lost it by being chinned by a shot Povetkin. Whyte was done at that point. Luckily Hearn saved his ass with the rematch clause and he beat a post-covid Povetkin who could barely get into the ring. In any event it surely showed tonight.

It happens often and it'll keep on happening, he'll always stay with his hating ways. Just how he likes to engage with the sport, he has to love some and hate some.

I agree that Fury may think he has or had(?) the potential to become undisputed champion but I honestly think a 100% Usyk or even a now and ready Joe Joyce dropped into the ring tonight would have been a different kettle of fish.

We all see different flaws in fighters and the fact styles makes fights etc. I'm not sure Fury beats Usyk or Joyce now TBH.

To the point at least that I personally wouldn't predict that he could. I honestly really don't know.

I thought Fury would win tonight but like most here I thought it would have been more competitive with more drama. That's not to say that Fury excelled tonight but more that Whyte was more of a damp squid overall. I really was expecting better.

Yes he lost a fight against a fellow ring rated opponent. A perfect uppercut by povetkin after being himself dropped twice.

Povetkin was also the challenger to Whyte. Though they made it yet another eliminator, he didn't actually need to take that fight, so they put in a rematch clause. And you can't blame Covid on Whyte. He beat who he needed to beat.

Tell you what, please name another WBC contender that did more to earn a shot since the retirement of Vitali.

Agree mate. Joyce and Usyk are the only two that could be a handful for different reasons. Whyte was dissapointing considering how long he campaigned to get the chance. He was slow and didn't seem to have a plan to close the distance and I'm not sue what the southpaw stance in the first round was for as it looked awkward. Fury did what he needed to do without taking any stupid risks. It flatters Fury and makes Whyte look a lot worse than he is. As you say though styles make fights and you don't always know how it meshes until they are in the ring. We'll just have to see how Joshua and Usyk pans out as that may not go the way people assume for several reasons.
