    I thought Ngannou won

It was a sloppy fight but he landed the far harder shots

Never liked Fury, he’s a lazy piece of shite and he came into this fight with zero respect and to be fair, I was one of the few that felt Ngannou could win this

    Shame the judges shafted him

One gave him both 7 and 10, which were some of the clearest Ngannou rounds outside the third. That was the one that gave him the fight 96-93. If those rounds had been scored properly, Ngannou would've won the split.

I mean, I don't have a problem with Fury winning 95-94, but prolly not anything more than that and definitely not from winning 7 and 10.

Bubbles, in some alternative timeline did Fury steal your lunch money and make fun of you in school?

I've been skimming, reading every other page since the fight ended so I could get through this sooner than later.
On what seems like every page you've been slamming Wilder and Fury left , right, forwards, and backwards. Wilder just to discredit Fury all the more. More than a few here think AJ and many other HWs would easily beat FN. BS. Give FN more training in straight boxing and he'd be very competitive vs. AJ. Might even stop AJ. If Fatso did why not FN? Francis does box in MMA. He's a big HW that can punch and take a shot. At 37 he's not that old by today's standards. Fury isn't much younger and given the abuse his body has endured is likely as old as FN biologically. IOW Fury's body has had more wear & tear - and not just in the ring. I thought Fury would win but not in a cakewalk like so many did. And hey, Fury did win... and Ali beat Norton in their 3rd bout... and many more examples of controversial outcomes in boxing history.

It's been popular to slam Fury ever since his fight w/ Usyk didn't happen sooner. Like most, you're just front running.
Oh btw, Fury & Wilder beat the crap out of nearly all puny HWs from days gone by. Size isn't everything, but it matters very much. The sport has weight divisions for a reason !

I've always said Wilder was a hypejob with a pathetic resume... Always... Because that's the simple fact of the matter - his best win by far is Ortiz, whose best win was another hypejob whose career highlight was losing a wide UD to Wlad.

And Fury really hasn't done much since his return except beat Wilder at least twice and arguably 3/3.
I've said plenty of times that I think he's better than his recent resume shows, and still would've expected an AJ bout to be close (probably slight edge to Fury despite mismatched resumes)... Though I've thought Usyk probably beats him comfortably.

Like most people, I thought Fury should've been able to win this fairly easily tonight - even in poor condition, it should've been a complete mismatch in terms of boxing knowhow and ring IQ...
But I think even with a far less inflated view of Fury's abilities than many on here, I still overrated him - the years of self-destruction and lack of difficult fights have left him in poor condition in more ways than one and culminated in an embarrassment for the sport.

Make no mistake, this is a grim night for boxing.

Fair enough. We're not completely disagreeing either. I just think - in the heat of the moment - you're dumping on Fury & Wilder excessively.

From tonight it looks like if Francis became a boxer, say from 10 years ago, he would've been a solid contender. Maybe even won a belt. As for Fury's performance... even great fighters have off nights. I also think Fury didn't train seriously. Against Usyk he needs to train hard, and have his head right - else he losses by decision.

I see it as counterbalance in Fury's case - he deserves to have it pointed out how little he's really done since returning, even if I suspect he's able to be better than he's proven during this second career as it were.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Wilder - his resume is absolute trash and again you can claim he's better than he's proven if you want, but it's a much tougher sell given his **** poor fundamentals and unlike Fury he hasn't proven anything in a past life to mitigate for this.

As far as Fury-Usyk goes .. Fury needs to train very hard to have any chance at all - Usyks beaten the guy with the best resume in the division twice, Fury's not been in with anyone close to AJ's level since Wlad and that's a whole 8 years ago.

    Exactly...

2 wins over AJ > 2 wins over Wilder

You’re as pathetic as your hero.

That’s how you are responding to Fury crapping his pants in front of the world?

    Laughable.
