I thought he was pretty clearly gassed in rounds 9 and 10 when he barely threw anything. On my scorecard those rounds cost him the fight. If he had landed maybe 3 or 4 more decent shots in each of those two rounds, he'd have unquestionably won.

Yes the power did bother Fury.

On top of that Ngannou got size and strength.

I also think Fury didn’t train hard enough and wasn’t totally mentally engaged in this fight.

This. Fury’s roughhouse tactics were useless against Francis.

THIS. He wasn’t throwing on the move like we are so used to seeing. Sliding and throwing. Boxing on the backfoot. Keeping range. It has to be bc his cardio wasn’t where he needed it. He wasn’t moving his feet. He was ponderous. It was so odd to watch. About halfway through he had a look on his face that said to me “man I should’ve taken this more seriously.”

    Surely Ngannou knocks out Dubois?

He probably gives plenty a tough fight because he's huge, roided, has power and has a chin. What else do you really need at HW to be competitive?

That's why Fury and Warren were such fools. They acted like this was a pushover fight because they believed boxers were immune to MMA striking and MMA guys would just fall over with 'boxer power'. They also bought into this notion Fury was a KO artist, brought to us by Idiot Hill the last few years.

They should have properly watched the MMA fights of their opponent and Miocic, plus other Miocic fights to get a reference for his own power and skills.

It was clear as day that their opponent didn't just have power but more importantly had a good chin, wasn't some glass cannon, which means there was a good chance he'd be able to hang in there quite a while against Fury, a guy not known for big power. Miocic hit him with bombs in the face using those small MMA gloves and couldn't properly hurt him. Miocic is a big guy and destroyed others with the same punching power. And that means it was possibly going to be hard for Fury to look good in this fight and 'finish it early' like Warren told us.

Did they bother to pay even some mediocre analysts to look into this contest? Seriously, how dumb are all these suits and executives orchestrating this? This is the kind of circus fight you make AFTER the Usyk fights if you're so desperate.

So he beat an old vlad in a pacifist fight
    Ran from the rematch
    Fought the windmill thrice
One draw a stoppage and a borefest
Then goes life and death with a 0-0-0 guy
    That theres the heavyweight king
    Gtfoh
    Miniq where are you boy

His resume is crap but he has got himself in a position where he is fighting for 10's of millions every fight. When he took on Wilder no one knew if Wilder was any good, we still don't because Wilders resume is built on KO'ing journeyman but it was a risk AJ wasn't willing to take.

Yep. He got legit hurt in round 3 and where as spider leg Wilder was able to be pushed around Francis was able to stand his ground against Fury’s mauling style. Turned out to be a bad match up for him.
Fury was close to losing I scored it 6-4 in his favor but could see 5-5 in which case he loses

Cracks me up how so many boxing fans have insisted for years that anyone 6’6”+ is a “super heavyweight” irrespective of what they weigh (i.e. Wilder, AJ at 240 or less) and anyone shorter is really just a midget with no chance, but now puny 6’4” Ngannou is a SHW and Wilder isn’t (which is obviously true, but you’d have a hard time convincing boxing fans of that most of the time)

going to split decision with the hw 1 p4p should make him an honorary top 5 imo.

If we are talking about rating, most boxers in the top 20 dont come close to doing that to Fury.

    Francis should be rated 10-5

I think Fury was lucky to escape getting knocked out late.

His mouth was open and appeared to be breathing heavy from the second round onwards, either way his pace didn't appear to deteriorate too much throughout the fight.
