Disagree. Fury is looking a lot slimmer than usual. Gonna be really interesting to see the game plan.
Slimming down all the way to bridgerweight still isn't going to close the natural gap in speed between he and Usyk.
I think Usyk is WAY more capable of beating a guy his size than Fury is. In fact, No one in boxing is more capable of winning a fight vs someone with no advantages over them than Usyk...which is why he's lb for lb the best fighter on the planet. But Fury has a lot of advantages, and Usyk doesn't seem to be as good as he NEEDS to be to beat someone as big as Fury.
It he came in the same condition he did against Ngannou then he would be a sitting duck. At least now he'll have a bit of extra mobility and stamina which he's going to need especially in the later rounds.
It's been a while since was saw Usyk tangle with a skilled big (nearer seven than six foot) super heavyweight...since the WSB, really. A lot of people that have only followed his pro career are going to be surprised, because dat boy gon eat.
There isn`t anyone Tyson`s size that can move as quick as him, his head movement can be very good, Usyk needs to work his body I feel very feel.
Fury is DEADLY serious. zoned in. Usyk is in trouble Usyk subvertly trying to tell Fury not to clinch him "Let your hands do talking" Fury is mauling him to death
Fury afraid of looks in the eyes. Trying making joke but dont want look Usyk in the eyes. Means not soo much but was fun watching him being soo akward and nervous.
The only question is does he have enough speed and athleticism left? WSB was Usyk as a younger man. Being the smaller man is a young fighter's game.
I really enjoyed that press conference. Watching these 2 mental giants trying to psych each other out is immensely entertaining. Can't wait for Saturday now. I think they're both on top form mentally and physically. This could be an all timer.
Fury is truly bipolar. He had two times switch during the press conference. You can look at his face and see the difference. I think he will be ready for tomorrow, but today he looks depressed than anything.
