Poll is a dead heat so far, 26-26-2.

A slight majority (53%) of Fury backers favor him by stoppage.

In contrast, of respondents picking Usyk, only 19% (and 9% of total voters) think he will halt the bigger man.

I think Fury will try and impose himself from the first bell and certainly like you mention will not fear going in,Fury will want the stoppage and not risk leaving it to the judges with Fury being perceived as the bad guy in this fight with Usyk being a war hero etc etc . Certainly a fascinating fight which will keep this forum busy with threads for months both before and after they fight .

I don't feel like this detail is being paid enough attention when considering the historical importance of this fight.

Fury was previously lineal, but never undisputed.

On the other hand, while Usyk has come damn close to unifying all the belts, he is still missing the green one (in many fans', historians', and fighter's themselves opinion the most prestigious one for all the organization's faults) as well as that lineal claim.

There are legal adults, who can purchase alcohol in the United States, whose fathers hadn't even nutted them into their mommies' hoohas yet the last time we had a LINEAL+UNDISPUTED heavyweight champion.

Can you imagine if Usyk "Toney's" Fury? Reminiscent of RJJ??? It would be glorious to see, if Usyk could be simply so damn fast and awkward that Fury looks dumbfounded.

    Yea but he isn't

Fury's speed is what is going to catch everyone off guard and his ability to break right through Usyk's defence.

I already made a thread saying the fight was off and it was promptly deleted by the mods. This fight ain't happening. Fury is going to fight a plumber after the binman

I chose Fury by KO, but that is provided they both look good in the ring and haven't slipped too much yet, also provided there are no shenanigans like one fighter inexplicably looking non-offensive or some scorecard crap or whatever.

I like Usyk, he's the best p4p boxer in the world at the moment. Usyk by KO is a big call though. I consider Fury to have at least equal chin to Joshua, with superior defence, distance control, stamina, powers of recovery and heart.

I'm conflicted on this fight. In contests between elite fighters (reading your post, I'm guessing you'll cringe at my describing Fury as elite, but I think these 2 are the best 2 HWs today) I normally favour the guy with the superior footwork, as they tend to be the one who dictates what type of fight it is, what range it's fought at, when they engage and when they rest. In this instance, that fighter is Usyk. However, gun to my head, I'd pick Fury. His advantages in height & reach may offset Usyk's in footwork, in a long range jab and move boxing match, and if they don't he has the option to attempt to close the distance and bully Usyk on the inside, though I accept that's easier said then done.

Fury's my pick, but not a confident one. Fair play to you if Usyk win's by stoppage, that's the least likely of the 4 outcomes imo, so if it transpires I'll try to remember to quote your post & give your call due credit.

Yep, and I bet you don't know what it was.

I also would bet rather confidently on you not actually knowing a damn thing about this fight that anybody else doesn't. Hell, the Twitter account for Sky Sports Boxing was posting pundit preview vids as recently as within the last hour. So you confidently proclaiming that it "won't happen" with your unearned newbie confidence and citing only tRuSt Me BrO sources, means approximately diddly squat to a single living soul.
