Isn't it funny how *****s love to praise other boxers when they talk about how good Mayweather's performance was, but when Mike Tyson, who knows more about boxing then most, calls it boring they don't say ****.

The difference is, though that Ward shouldn't be trying to knock out these guys. He fights the best in his division; he's not supposed to run through these guys. Yeah, he has a boring style, but it's a given since he fights such high level competition. Same thing for Rigondeaux in the Donaire fight.

On the other hand, Guerrero was totally outclassed by Mayweather and should've been knocked the **** out. Mayweather didn't even give the audience that, though. Tyson is right on point. People don't want to see mismatches; they want to see competitive fights.

The onus is not on Mayweather though, it's not his fault Guerrero couldn't keep up with him. :conf

He's not a knockout artist (like Tyson) he's a Boxer, the similarities between him and Tyson end there.

Well, it sort of is because he's the one who picked him out as an opponent and charged 60$+ for the privilege of watching that rubbish - everyone who isn't a ***** knew Guerrero was very mediocre and a joke match-up

He did try but unfortunately the injury happened remember. That is why there was a big drop off in his aggressiveness late in the fight. I guess he could have said "**** it" and risked breaking his hand. But that is still not a guaranteed KO and what if it had jeopardized the September matchup?

You mean Kirkland or Cotto. They know better than to go after a Lara fight.

Tyson pre fight press conference alone is more entertaining then a Floyd fight. Oh wait...but Tyson has lost of his record .

not a chance, Kirkland is a primitive joke. Lara/ Molina/Andrade and many others stand a far better chance vs Canelo than that clown. Even Cotto, Robert Guerrero, Matthysse, Danny Garcia, JMM stand a better chance.

Of course he should. Ward is the number 2 pound for pound fighter in the world/Olympic gold medalist/Has not lost a fight in about 20 years. He should be KO'ing people he fights not etching out a boring 12 round decision because he fights the number 2 and 3 in his division. He is still head and shoulders above them all talent wise.

Why shouldn't Rigo go for the KO in the Donaire fight? Just because he has only had a handful of pro fights and he was the underdog makes no difference. The guy has had about 400 amateur fights and is amazing. After 2 rounds he must have known Donaire was not on his level. Knock him the **** out!!

Why are we happy to see boxers go the distance in safety first fights, don't get me wrong i love the art of boxing but this low output style of fighting at 4am gets harder and harder to stay awake for as i get older!!

Give fighters a KO/TKO bonus, this will spice things up. That or stop paying for **** PPV events.
